Lauren Alaina will release her new album, Sitting Pretty On Top of the World, on September 3rd.
The album features collaborations with Jon Pardi, Trisha Yearwood and Lukas Graham. 

Michael Ray will release his Higher Education EP on August 27th. 
The seven-song collection features the title cut, "Higher Education," a collaboration with Kid Rock, Lee Brice, Billy Gibbons and Tim Montana.

Saturday night at Spunkmeyer's Pub was so fun! It was the trifecta. First, an FGL Ticket Stop- yay! Next, it is Spunkmeyer's! I mean this bar is known to be a good time from the food to the music, to the people and the patio. Now that Kevin from the Buck Naked Band is the owner, we get to add that- the Buck Naked Band. I stuck around to hear them play, as did a parking lot full of fans and it was a blast!

It was so nice to be outside on a perfect night listening to country tunes. Get on out to Spunkmeyer's for all the fun, and on personal side note- they have all the White Claw flavors! Yes!

Elvie Shane and his wife Mandi welcome a daughter, Zaelyn Journey, who was born on July 20th.

Today is Cheesecake Day, so to me it is Golden Girls Day. I hear cheesecake- I think of Dorothy, Rose, Blanche and Sophia.

I grew up watching the girls every Saturday night. Watched with my sister, my parents, friends, and now as an adult they are always on- Hallmark, TV Land, even CMT!

They make me feel nostalgic, but even at that- they make me feel at home, if that make sense. They are timeless, funny and I just love them!
