Blake Shelton's 2016 tour gets under way today in Oklahoma City.
He says, “I’m ready to get back out on the road and play some new music, some favorites and a few obscure songs
for the fans. I’m really excited to kick off this tour in my home state and thrilled that RaeLynn is joining us on this leg
of the tour.”
The tour won't interfere with his gig on The Voice -- the first shows airing are the pre-recorded blind auditions, which will premiere on September 19th.
Tim McGraw and Faith Hill will be the next country artists inducted into the Music City Walk of Fame.
The ceremony takes place on October 6th in Nashville's Walk of Fame Park. That date is a big deal for them -- it's their 20th wedding anniversary.

Reba McEntire and Brooks and Dunn have extended their Las Vegas residency for a couple more years.
They renegotiated their contract with Caesars Palace for their run of shows, which began last year. Ronnie Dunn
says, "So we'll go into 2017, maybe parts of 2018... No end in sight."
The next round of shows for Reba, Brooks and Dunn: Together in Vegas begins on November 30th.
Carrie Underwood just launched the second leg of her Storytellertour.
A few things have changed , but she’s still opening the show by rising up on a jukebox surrounded by pyro. It's the first
tour where she's used fire for a good reason -- her hair is flammable- that’s the reason why she has been horrified of pyro.
Carrie is also celebrating her CMA nominations including her nod for Entertainer of the Year!

Alabama: Song of the South, the new exhibit celebrating the guys from Fort Payne, is open now at the Country Music
Hall of Fame in Nashville. The display features instruments, stage outfits, awards and more.
The exhibit runs through June 12th of next year.
If you want to hear Jason Aldean's new album, They Don't Know, when it's released on September 9th, you'll have to
buy it. It won't be available on any of the streaming services until a month after its release.
Jason tells Billboard, "A new album is just like anything else. When the new iPhone comes out, when you go to the
Apple store, they’re not just handing them out for free. If you want something that’s brand new, you’re willing to pay the
price for it. And then, after it’s been out for a while, you may get it at a discount. That’s just business 101."

released to streaming services on October 9th.
