Tim McGraw is helping to write a book..

Kellie Pickler is getting a sequel...

Tim McGraw is working with a Pulitzer Prize-winning presidential historian on the book Songs of America: Patriotism, Protest and the Music That Made a Nation. The historian gives the historical perspective on music through the years, while Tim provides insight from the artist's point of view.

Kellie Pickler’s holiday Hallmark movie, Christmas at Graceland is getting a summer sequel! Wedding at Graceland is set to premiere this summer as part of Hallmark Channel’s month long wedding programming in June. The movies could also get a third installment come Christmas time in December.

Kellie’s character found love in the first film when she returned home to Memphis to close a deal to take over the city’s family owned bank. While in town, she bumped into her ex Clay- a local music promoter. A second chance at love and music has now blossomed into a sequel and a wedding at Graceland!

MOVIE PREVIEWS - This Weekend

The Best Of Enemies

Based on a true story about a civil rights case.  This stars Taraji P. Hinson, and Sam Rockwell.  Good cast, and the story on its surface seems strong enough. Both of them are really on a roll right now, and this may be the biggest step, especially for her, as her movie career is kicking into high gear.

This is an adult drama that because of the time of the year, Spring Break, may get lost in the movie hype of younger themed movies also released this week and in weeks past.

Shazam

More superheros.  This seems to have a whole lot of parody and fun attached to it. This will be a major hit.

Pet Cemetary

Seems all the Stephen King books that were once movies are getting a second chance and this time around hoping to be taken a bit more seriously than the first time around.  It did very well, and so will this. And when this does, look for more King classics to get a second chance as well.

Luke Combs - Regular Guy

Luke Combs is on pace to be something that is the rarest of the rare.  A "regular guy" seemingly coming out of nowhere and rocketing to the top of the charts, and the format in general.  You have heard all the numbers, #1 here, and there, for tons of weeks.  It has all happened so fast, it's remarkable.

And this is just getting started.  Luke Combs is making a career out of flat out great, relatable music being delivered to you from a guy who is giving you a voice.  He reminds us of - us.  He's just a guy, who has the same feelings we do, with a mixed bag of emotions in his songs and it seems there is no wall between us and him.

This song and video says it all  -

He sings with feelings and words you want to hear, or he says them for you, in common speak if words don't come easy for you.  He is the "every man."  He is what many hope to be when they jump off the bus with a guitar on their backs at the Nashville bus station.  It's straight forward, it's honest and it's reality.  He gives the "regular guy" a voice, which is turning out to be anything but regular -  but rather something beyond exceptional.

Kranch, No Thank You!

Heinz released it's latest sauce creation: Kranch. Ketchup and ranch. Last year, they brought us Mayochup (mayonnaise and ketchup), along with Mayomust (mayonnaise and mustard) and Mayocue (mayonnaise and BBQ sauce). I fully support these sauce, but Kranch is where I have to draw the line.

You involve my ranch, I have something to say. Ranch is in my bloodstream. It should be left alone. You use ranch to make things better, so adding ketchup-  just NO! Ketchup, in my opinion is only useful for French fries, maybe a chicken nugget, but in this case you have a glob of ketchup over here and your ranch over there. To each their own, but I like my ranch mixed with more ranch!

Take a look at the bottle of it all mixed together...to me soooo not appealing!

Reba is in love…
Dolly Parton is headed to NASCAR…

Reba McEntire is in love!
Four years after her divorce from Narvel Blackstock, she's living happily ever after with a man they call “Skeeter” -- a retired oil geologist she met while visiting Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
She says,  “We’re totally in love -- absolutely. I wouldn’t put up with somebody for two years if I wasn’t in love with ’em!”
Well, we all know dating a geologist really rocks!
Reba’s new album Stronger Than the Truth  comes out tomorrow and then on Sunday, she'll host the ACM Awards for the 16th time.

Dolly Parton fans listen up- her likeness will be on driver Tyler Reddick’s No. 2 Chevy Camaro at Bristol Motor Speedway. Not only will her face be on the pink and white car- it will also feature shout outs to Dollywood. The races starts at 1 on Saturday.
