The Oak Ridge Boys are feeling Christmas already…

Maren Morris's "Girl" became her second number-one single this week, after “I Could Use A Love Song,” and her fastest-rising single to date. She considered “Girl” a leap of faith.
She said, "When we put this song out as a single, you know, it's very rock, so I didn't know how it was going to fare at radio, but I just believed in it so much. So, I'm really sort of floored that it's been my quickest single." 

The Oak Ridge Boys announced they are ready for the Christmas season as they will release a new holiday album and an upcoming tour. Down Home Christmas will be released on October 25th and the tour is set to kick off November 13th and will hit 30 cities including a stop in Ohio.

Jake Owen recently shared a picture of his new baby girl on social media. Paris was born on April 29th and she joins big sister Pearl who is 6.
Jake said about his girls, “To be blessed with another beautiful little girl is a big deal because I do think that it takes special men to be a great dad to a little girl. And, I feel like, thanks to Pearl, she’s shown me how to be a good father to little girls, and I’ll be a great father to Paris because of that.”

I stumbled upon this great food find in Akron/Springfield on my way home from the gym. I love cabbage and when I saw this sign that said Cabbage Connection, I had to investigate! Of course, my mom knew all about it even though it is relatively new.

They have all the Hungarian favorites. Naturally they have cabbage rolls, open face banana peppers, kraut dogs, krautzetti, cabbage and noodles, dumplings, chicken paprikas (seasonally), crepes and other Hungarian desserts. I was raised on many of these dishes so I was so excited to try them. They were delicious! I can’t wait to go back and try more.
