Carlos Santana is in! He will be the starting first baseman in the 2019 All Star Game for the American League on Tuesday, July 9th! We have to represent the home field and home team Cleveland Indians!

He received 49% of the vote, out of 3 total on the ballot. This is the first All Star Game appearance of his career and he will be in the Home Run Derby. With the game being at Progressive Field this year, excitement is super high. I’ve got a good feeling about this game!

The last time the All Star Game was played in Cleveland, Sandy Alomar Jr. hit the game winning home run and was named the game MVP. I love Sandy. I love Carlos. I love CLE. I love the Indians. Yeah, this is gonna be a good game!

Luke Combs to go into the Opry later next month…
Kane Brown to play on All That…

Luke Combs will become an official member of the Grand Ole Opry on July 16th -- just  three years after making his Opry debut. 
He was asked to join on June 11th by John Conlee, Chris Janson and Craig Morgan.

Kane Brown will be the musical guest this weekend on the newly rebooted sketch-comedy series All That. He is set to perform his #1 single “Lose It.” You can catch the episode of All That with Kane tomorrow night on Nickelodeon.

Two songwriters and one songwriter-artist will be selected by their professional songwriter peers and inducted at the 49th Anniversary Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame Gala on October 14th in Nashville.

Miranda Lambert is dishing on her new album. She says it will have a rock vibe and she hopes to have a new single out as soon as possible. As for a release date- there is no clear date on that either, just sometime in the fall.
