I think I might have went a little overboard for Eric Church Bells...
Oh well, get ready for a 'sold out' show on Saturday Night at Blossom!
Congrats to Ashley W. who will be heading to see Eric Church.
June 21st, has a special meaning for a certain song... There is a documentary on Neflix "It All Begins With A Song: The Story of Nashville Songwriters." It is a few years old. Where if you would like to dig in deeper on the story it is amazing. The documentary hits on various songs from country, rock pop really all genres. The writers who wrote this song have a very interesting back story.
The story comes about from Paul Monti's son Jared. It began with a line from an interview one of the writers heard. It was written, a demo made and an artist was picked out... The writers after the song went to #1 they wanted to play it for the father of the fallen soldier. There are a lot of coincidences with this song. Like it was written on the same day the solider passed 2 years prior. That day was June 21st.
I've only watched the documentary once. The date stuck with me... June 21st.
The writers have told this story many times. The documentary is good with a number of country artists. Maybe worth a watch. Here is the story from one of the writers below and part of the documentary.
I have never been on a game show. Trust me I would love it! My luck is more like this fellas on the Price is Right.

As a dad, there is no better day in the world. You could get me a tie, a beer, a tuxedo t-shirt. Maybe the best thing in my life would be to play catch with my son, Killian. Throwing the ball, throwing batting practice, heading to the batting cages... really any of it is calming to me.
I love my son, baseball and the outdoors for me... I know The Country Fest was this week. I saw a lot of multi-generational families in the crowds. Thank you for that. As a dad though... I think there are a few songs that really hit home for being that dad... or fatherly-figure in someones life that draws or deserves your attention. Happy Father's Day to all the dads, grandpas, steps, fosters, uncles and various fatherly figures who stepped in. We appreciate you. I appreciate these songs on Father's Day...

So today, The Cleveland Browns did a thing.
They decided this to be their New Dawg Pound Logo.
There are apparently 8 tributes to the team and city in the new logo (below). What do you think?
Most listeners enjoyed it today, when asked. Some loved it. The other option was more cartoony which one listener described.. as what they wanted.
I think this one is going to look great on a shirt, someone said on the field? Another asked if it would be on the Helmet?
I don't know the intentions with the logo at this time. It is a great looking logo and think the team will rep it well.
Now who is getting the first tattoo of it? Or covering up their Brownie The Elf one...
I usually stick to the old faithful products that I am used to. I happened upon these the other day and heard Scott and Sarah talking about them. I decided to give them a whirl. I wasn't holding out a lot of hope. I like the tried and true Classic Oreo.
These were a pleasant surprise. I don't think, I could/would go for them all the time. It was a nice little change up.
Overall I would say, Yay. But I am a cotton candy flavoring fan. I think these as an ice cream sandwich would be pretty good.
My favorite thing with Oreo's are "Dirt Pie".
*Some people use pudding and gummy worms... *
I just take a graham cracker or oreo pie crust. Fill it with Cool Whip and Smash up 10 or so Oreo's and mix in the Cool Whip. It's light and quick.
Here are some other ideas for Oreo's Desserts. Click Here
Now I want Oreo's!!!
This weekend, don't forget to submit your Dad Jokes Here or a chance to win a $500 certificate for all the landscaping from Akers Landscaping in Medina!
Scott and Sarah will randomly choose one joke each morning this week and read it on the morning show at 7:10am. You will then be qualified for the landscaping for Father’s Day!
