The country world is feeling the effects of the Pandemic.  Some of these artists were at home for the longest stints of their careers.  

Sure we are in the midst of getting some great albums...  Morgan Wallen just dropped 'One Thing At A Time', Luke Combs has 'Gettin Old' this Friday,

Throw in Hardy, Brantley Gilbert, Jelly Roll, Jason Aldean, Kenny Chesney, Gabby Barrett, Bros. Osbourne Carly Pearce and just about every artist out there has something on the way.  Musically and touring things are great for country fans and artists!

While some artists were home they probably had sometime for more things than just music.  Maybe to focus on additional branches to those family trees...  It is like a Country Baby Boom!

Today John Osbourne's Wife gave birth to twins, congrats to the family!  Scotty McCreery's wife Gabi, Gabby Barrett, Elle King, Jon Pardi's Wife Summer just had Presley, Runaway June’s Jennifer Wayne, Maddie & Tae’s Taylor Dye, Sam Hunt's Wife Hannah Lee Fowler, Niko Moon's Wife Anna Moon, Chris Lane's wife Lauren, and Randy Houser's wife Tatiana all had children recently....

Luke Combs announced he and Nicole will have their 2nd boy in September.  Shay Mooney, Jordan Davis, Drake White wives are all expecting also... 

Could we be seeing the next era of country singers?  We'll see...

Oh tomorrow is a big day!  St. Patrick's Day...  Start the holiday off with our girl who usually paints the town pink!   Sarah O' Kay will be out at The Dusty Armadillo St. Patty's Pop-Up Dive Bar tomorrow morning from 8am-10am...  breakfast, delicious drinks, fun.. 

Akron's St. Patrick's Parade was last weekend.... Soo...

If you are out of work and looking for a parade...  weather might be a little wet, but temperature should be fair.  The Cleveland St. Patrick's Day Parade starts at 1pm.  The route starts at East 18th Street and move west on Superior Avenue. the route will go through Public Square.   

Watch for Road Closings and Parking Bans.  Get there early and remember tomorrow is a work day. 

RTA will be offering $5 round trips downtown on March 17. 

A few weeks ago, we did a Mt. Rushmore of Country Music...

By now you know you know, I'm a wrestling fan...

The Undertaker is one of the greats.  So when he talks about his Mt. Rushmore of Wrestlers, you take notice.

In the past, Taker had Shawn Michaels in place of Hulk Hogan but let the debate continue.  

 With Wrestlemania on horizon...

I think My Mt. Rushmore of Wrestling would be:

-Macho Man Randy Savage

-Ric Flair

-Mick Foley (with small little heads to make one Cactus Jack, Mankind, Dude Love)

-and Stone Cold Steve Austin or The Sandman.

So many choices these are just some of my favorites... there are many, many, more that could be posted and listed:

Patsy Cline, Barbara Mandrell, Trisha Yearwood, Shania, Sara Evans, Deana Carter, Jennifer Nettles, Ashley McBryde, Carly Pearce, Gabby Barrett, Priscilla Block and sooo many more today and in the past.   

The Women of Country are bringing it, not holding back today, and it is refreshing to see. 

So I have always loved 'The Turtles".   Seth Rogen is going to put his spin on this new edition.   He is definitely bringing help with the voices.  Jackie Chan, John Cena, Rose Byrne, Maya Ruldoph, Post Malone and Paul Rudd just to name a few...

The movie is out August 4th of this year.  The Teaser Trailer just dropped... it's animated and called Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem here it is.

Since Morgan Wallen has a new album and he has a concert to promote it tonight for free in Nashville.    

He is promoting it for all the fans to check it out by streaming the show tonight at 8:30 Eastern.  Here is the details.

There have been a lot of ticketing mishaps this year.  Taylor Swift, Morgan Wallen, Zach Bryan, basically any big name has caused problems.  

I am not here to figure out the problem.  Those issues are way above me. (a few thoughts below)  I just want real fans to get the tickets...  There has been practices of releasing tickets directly to secondary seller sites... *cough Metallica*.  That isn't celebrating your fans, it is ripping them off.  

I don't think the bots and the scalpers are going to stop online.  It is just too easy to buy all the tickets online thru presales and general sales.  The only way to stop or at least help fans get the tickets in their hands... make it the person who buys the ticket, THEY and ONLY THEY HAVE TO USE IT!  On shows like Taylor Swift there is a waiting list till the end of time.  Person can't go they have to notify within a time frame and Refund the ticket price to that ticket holder with the next person on the list getting the open ticket.  Basically, lock out those just trying to make money off the artist and promoters.  (Especially this Morgan Wallen Show Free Ticket someone is going to make a lot of money.)

Some thoughts: The Airlines are not perfect.  But frequent flyers get pre-boarding screening, why not do that, go to a location and insure it is the ticket buyer.  At the airport you still get a ticket/gate check and a security check just like you do at a concert.  If it isn't you- you can't come in.  Yeah, entry to the show might be a nightmare, but the venue will make more money getting fans in early.  

I truly respect Morgan Wallen's decision playing a free show in Nashville.  I would have made it 1 ticket per person, but so be it.   IT IS HIS SHOW.  The show sold out for tonight (3/3) in just an hour+.  Tickets are already on ticket sites for well over a $1,000.  So here is a guy trying to celebrate his fans, promote the new album and people are still ruining it.  

Well Lainey is on a roll...  Bell Bottom Country has taken the world by storm...

I still have to find a pair of Ben-Bottoms as she heads to the area.
