I think I have mentioned it here before. Many moons ago, I kinda fell onto my living room coffee table. After said day it was quite wobbly. Still managed to do its function but was just not as sturdy as it once had been. I have been meaning to replace it for some time now...and over the weekend I FINALLY did!

I went shopping at Abbey Ann's on Cuyahoga Falls Ave in Akron to see what they had. JACKPOT!!!! I found the table in the picture :). It is actually so much like what I had and other tables, that it fits perfectly! It has two leaves that can be put up or down (I have one of them up in the picture) and I am so happy with my purchase! Which btw, one of my couches and my love seat came from that same Abbey Ann's location! Originally I thought I was just going to trash the old table (upper right corner of the picture). My mom suggested that I put it out on my back porch, so we took it out there and...BINGO! PERFECT - found a new home for it too.

Always fun to go thrift shopping to look and see what you can find...and at a bargain too!

My oldest brother and his family are in town from Southern California and we are all getting together at my mom's this Sunday. My other older brother will be there as well, and hopefully my sister and her daughters can make it too.

If we are all there, it'll be the first time we've all been together since December. We are planning to do some swimming (my brother's littles are 6 and younger), so they'll love that. We will also have dinner and have to talk business about our vacation home :(. Still, it'll be nice to see everyone! You have a great weekend as well!!

I HAVE to wish my fur buddy Buttercup a belated Happy Gotcha Day! I say belated because it was actually on Tuesday (the 18th). I thought about it last week, then got busy with other things and totally forgot until yesterday...shame on me!!!

He is a very vocal cat. He tells me everything that is on his mind. EVERYTHING! Yet, somehow this one slipped his mind....I think because he turned 5 or 6 this year, he's trying to downplay his age now ;) LOL.

Cedar Point seems to be nearly ready to announce what exactly they are doing with the now-former Top Thrill Dragster. Supposedly they are going to keep a racing theme with the ride. Of course much work has gone into changes being made - and the park looks like it's ready to make everything public!

I spent A LOT of Sunday outside. First, my mom and I went to the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo. I still have not seen the young Gorilla, although we did see the young Orangutan, young Bison, a younger Reindeer, and some young Trumpeter Swans! I tried to get pictures but none really turned out good enough to post.

It was a warm and humid day at the zoo.So much so, you really couldn't tell much of a difference between outside and inside the Rainforest! lol. It was a good day at the zoo though.

Then after dinner, I got MORE steps in because I had to cut my grass. It was looking quite long and needed to look more well-kept. So I got that done and now I can say I am able to just sit back and gaze at my yard.

Hollywood is coming back to Cleveland! An action movie that will appear on Hulu is going to film here in Northeast Ohio this Fall. They need to cast 30 peopl PLUS extras! If you've ever wanted to say you're in a movie, you may want to check this out. 

Wouldn't it be awesome to tell friends, family, and strangers "Oh yeah...I'm in that movie"?? Who knows...you may get discovered and you could becom the next A-List movie star! Go for it!

I've seen a few things in my time...but not this! A llama serving as a groomsman! This couple in New York hired a company that has llamas and uses them to provide a fun and comforting atmosphere at events. I think it's a great idea.

Not only is it a great idea, but the pictures are hilarious! I really do think the llama looks better than I do in a tux! Maybe I need to get their number???

This is a picture I took of Buttercup over the weekend. He is sitting in the box that his automatic feeder came in. He usually just plays with his toys, but every now and then he'll take an interest in a box. Doesn't last too long, but for a little bit cardboard is the best thing since a catnip-infused toy mouse!

I think this proves that just like kids, animals can be less interested in the item and more interested in the box it came in! LOL
