George Strait and Keith Urban are both among the class of 36 celebrities getting a star on the Hollywwod Walk of Fame in 2025. No word yet on exactly WHEN the event will happen, but that is a big deal for sure!

Congrats to them and the other 34!

Jelly Roll appeared as a guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night. He sang, he talked, he announced more tour dates this Fall!

But then, after taping was done he stuck around with the audience. He performed a 30 minute set for them! Isn't that cool?! That is quite a generous thing for him to do and would've been really cool to be a part of that audience!

Over the weekend, we FINALLY cooled down on Sunday to be able to spend time outdoors! Yes, it was humid thanks to the spotty showers and storms, but not enough to stay inside ALL day!

I ended up going to the Akron Zoo Sunday afternoon. I just made sure to take an umbrella in with me and I was fine. Then earlier this afternoon it was still cool enough to be able to do something I've been putting off because of the heat...cut my grass!

My yard wasn't a COMPLETE jungle yet (just around the tree in my front yard), but it does look a lot better now.

Post Malone has what very well may turn out to be the song of the Summer with Morgan Wallen. Now that he has that success, he will be releasing an entire Country album later this Summer.

Look for Post Malone's album "F 1-Trillion" to hit the market on August 16th. He says the title is a play on the model of pickup trucks. It'll be interesting to see what kind of range into Country someone like him is able to do. Some artists that are not originally in Country music make that transition better than others.

Hopefully it works out for him. We will find out for sure coming up in mid August!

I write this blog every year at this time. It is the OFFICIAL start of Summer...so that means one thing - the days are going to get shorter for the next six months :(.

I personally love a late night sunset. They can be so pretty, and it improves your mood having the sun out later in the day. If there's one thing I cannot stand, it's looking outside in January at 4:30 in the afternoon and it's already getting dark!

While it happens very slowly...I still find it sad to know that between now and for all intents and purposes...Christmas, we will see less and less daylight in the evening. All I can say is - enjoy it and the warmth while we have it!

I was able to make it out on Saturday evening. I was really looking forward to seeing Thomas Rhett. As you can see, I was able to meet Riley Green before his set...which was awesome!

I had such a great time hanging out with coworkers, seeing all of the dedicated country music fans, and listening to some really great music! Thomas Rhett did not disappoint!

Kinda bummed I wasn't able to be there for Lainey Wilson, Priscilla Block, Nate Smith and others...but you can't win 'em all. Til next year!!!
