It should come as no surprise to anyone that Toby Keith will be inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville as part of their Class of 2024. As every trade magazine article, and really ANY article you read is saying - it's always been a matter of when, not if he'd get in.

I think you can speak for almost anyone in music (especially Country) when you say - "It's About Time".

The NCAA Basketball Tournament selection day is this weekend. Right now, all of the conferences are having their tournaments and the MAC is no different. What's great is that the conference is headquarted in Cleveland, so that has helped ensure that the tournament is held in our own backyard. Having gone to a MAC school myself (like many of you I'm sure), we know the excitment around this time of year.

If you have never been to Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse for the tournament...go! The final is tomorrow (Saturday evening) to determine the winner of the MAC! Enjoy March Basketball!!!

I had a meeting early this afternoon here at work. After that was over I had some shopping to do for the fur monster pictured above. It was time to get more "bathroom necessities" for him. I get 3 35 pound tubs at a time - about $20 each. Then, he needed new boxes too, and I got myself a new scooper.

By the time I was out the door, I put $90 on my credit card! I hope you have never run into anyone trying to tell you pets are cheap...cuz they are lyin'! haha

Chase Rice just announced he is going to open "I Hate Cowboys", a cocktail and bourbon lounge, next to his "Welcome To The Farm" on the East Bank of the Flats this weekend! 

The bar's name comes from part of his lastest album - "I Hate Cowboys and All Dogs Go To Hell". Being a new bar in the Flats, what better weekend to open than St. Patrick's Day in Cleveland, right?!

Your time is (almost) up. The Oscars air this Sunday night at 7:00 on ABC. If you are a big movie person, did you see everything you wanted to since the nominations were announced? That is a big thing for many people to do in those roughly 6 weeks.

Before I came into work today, I stopped at an area restaurant for dinner. As I'm sitting there eating, I hear Michael Ray's song "Holy Water". It finishes playing, and then the VERY NEXT SONG was "What He Didn't Do" by Carly Pearce! What are the odds? Good thing neither of them were in the building...haha

I came into work late this morning for a meeting. It lasted about an hour and then I got home around 12:30. It was cool, rainy, and just all around yucky! When I got home, I realized I could not stop yawning!

So I decided I had better eat lunch before I fall asleep. I ate, and then sat down on the couch with the TV on and the cat in my lap...and I was OUT!! I fell asleep and man did it feel great! Being under a blanket with it raining on a cool day outside, and just enough noise in the house to not be totally silent. I sincerely recommend to everyone that you try the same sometime. :)

In hindsight I should have done this yesterday too, but today I did it - broke out the shorts and sandals! I think this is the earliest I have ever done that...at least since college. It was just too nice and warm earlier today before the rain came not to. 

I also opened up the windows at home for a couple hours to get some fresh air in, espcially for Buttercup who doesn't go outside. It felt so nice to have things open and wear warmer-weather clothes for a change rather than be bundled up in a hoodie and under a blanket.

As I write this, the temperature outside is already down from 73 earlier to 63 and will continue to fall. That said, this will be a one-day thing for right now. Thankfully the days of shorts and sandals everyday are not far off in the future!
