There are not many things cuter than baby animals! The Cleveland Metroparks Zoo is celebrating the births of more right now! First, they recently had a baby Koala born. Now, it is the Tiger's turn! Yes! The Tigers had a pair of cubs recently and are going to be staying inside with mom for about 2-3 months according to the zoo.

We should be able to see all of the cuteness early in 2024! YAY! 

Since Thanksgiving is next Thursday, I figured this would be a wonderful time to bring this up. My mom was trying to plan out dinner for next week and asked if I wanted Turkey or something else. I am not the biggest fan of Turkey. I don't hate it, but I rarely eat it - usually this time of year. She gave me the choices of Turkey, Pork Chops, Ham, or something else - even dining out!!!

I gave it some thought and responded that since she already has some Turkey breasts in the freezer, we will go ahead and eat those. I tend to get more of the side dishes anyway - the corn, stuffing, mashed potatoes, rolls, etc.

I also do not like Pumpkin Pie. Cannot stand anything Pumpkin. So I will gladly take a Chocolate Cream or Apple pie for dessert. Happy early Thanksgiving and enjoy all the food!

Luke Combs and Morgan Wallen were both recently named Songwriter of the Year at the BMI Country Awards held last week. 

They were both very happy to share the award with each other, and then while on stage together, Luke decided to break into his own version of Morgan's song "Thought You Should Know".

Now that we are about one week out from Thanksgiving, it's basically time to get in the spirit of Christmas...I know!!! A great way to do that is to head out to the Cuyahoga County Fairgrounds to drive through their light display!

It's 2 miles of wintery Christmas fun with millions of different lights and many displays to wow the whole family! I have been through the displays they've had in the past and it is an amazing experience no matter how old you are. Don't forget that if you book a carload pass by December 7th, you will be helping to raise money for NEOPAT through the Tree of Lights charity as well!

Morgan Wallen may not have won any awards last week at the CMA's, but he DID put on a great performance with tonight's Keep it or Kick it song..."Man Made A Bar" featuring Eric Church!

By the way...While Morgan Wallen didn't win any CMA awards, he IS up for 17 Billboard Music Awards that will be passed out this coming Sunday, the 19th. He is performing that night as well.

Country music artists are known for helping the communities they come from, and Jelly Roll is no different. He is teaming up with area Wal-Mart stores around Nashville to sponsor a toy drive for kids in need this holiday season.

The toy drive is going on through the middle of December. The drive started with a donation of $25,000 worth of toys! Since, Toy maker Hasbro and Coca-Cola have pledged another $25,000! Way to go Jelly Roll!!! You can always count on Country musicians to come through for people that really need it.

It was a HUGE night for Lainey Wilson at the CMA's last night! She won 5/9 awards she was up for! She won Music Video & Musical Event of the Year with Hardy fo "Wait in the Truck", Album of the Year for "Bell Bottom Country", Female Vocalist of the Year, and Entertainer of the Year!!! WOW!

Tonight at 8:00 on ABC, it is time for the 2023 CMA Awards! Many artists in Country Music up for some very big awards tonight in Nashville. I will do my best to keep you posted as the night goes on as to who has won what award.

If you are planning a wedding and still need entertainment...I may have an idea for you - as long as you have a nice sized bank account!

Darius Rucker says he would play your wedding and you can even choose 5 songs for the band to learn! The main thing that might be prohibitive fo most people is his fee - $1 million.

I am going to guess that after the rest of the planning for the wedding, you probably won't have another $1 million to spend on ANYONE for entertainment! haha. Either way, I'm going to go notify both our Promotions Director Justina and overnight guy Joe (who are both planning weddings) in case they have any interest ;)

First and foremost: I stayed home. I did not go out of town this time. That was a nice change of pace. Last Saturday, I went with my Mom down to The Wilds outside of Zanesville to get a tour of the grounds in before they closed up for the season. It had been several years since we had been, so it was nice to get a tour in...even though it was a little cool and rainy on the open-air bus! lol. If you have never been down there-go!!! It's a great place to get a safari ride in where you do kinda feel like you're out on the Savannah. Plus, it's only a 2 hour drive away!

On Sunday, we went to see Dracula:The Bloody Truth at the Hanna Theater. What a fun show! It was crazy, very very funny, and an all around good time with Great Lakes Theater. On Tuesday we took the afternoon to stop by the Greater Cleveland Aquarium. Again, a place I had not been to for some time - mainly because of my schedule. Luckily, they were doing a shark feeding while we were there! So that was cool to see...even though not all of them were hungry.

The rest of the week was a little boring. Both Buttercup and I went to the doctor for our checkups, and then I had friends over to my house for pizza on Saturday night. That's about it. Here we are back at Monday and back at work. Talk to you on the radio. :)
