Our annual Tree of Lights radiothon is coming soon. Friday, December 6th and Saturday, December 7th, we'll be broadcasting live from our front lobby here at 1795 West Market St. in Akron collecting donations for charity.
This year we have a new charity recipient: NEOPAT (The Northeast Ohio Foundation for Patriotism), a local group that provides assistance and more to local military personnel and their families.
As we collect money, we'll be lighting lights on our three-story tree made of light strands attached to the front of our building, including the star on top!
Our goal is to raise $25,000 in just two days, which will all go to NEOPAT...so we need your support!
Want to learn more about NEOPAT? Check out their website here!

This is some more info that I thought was worth passing along...and it's mainly for those who are not lucky enough to win tickets. :(
First off, all tickets must be WON and there are NO tickets for sale...ANYWHERE! I know we've said and written this many times already, but it warrants repeating. We're starting to see a few places online where some people are claiming to have tickets for sale. Again, there are NO hard tickets for this show. All winners names will be on a list at the door. Please to not fall for any ticket selling scams.
Another tip: If you are not lucky enough to win your way into the concert at the Dusty Armadillo this Monday night, please keep in mind that NO tickets will be given out as last minute giveaways the day of the show at the venue. All area radio and TV stations must submit their winners names to the Garth Brooks camp by the morning of Saturday, October 26th. After that, no more tickets will be given away.
Anyone who is not on the winners list and tries to "hang out in the parking lot" at the Dusty Armadillo with hopes of getting in at the last minute, will be for naught. (And will possibly be kindly asked by security to exit the premises.) Please don't take this as any type of callous message, but instead just a kind "heads up." Keep in mind, the Dusty Armadillo is in a residential area and parking will be limited.
Keep plugging away if you haven't won tickets yet! Listen for more chances to win and get more details on how you can win right here on our website!!
