Rascal Flatts announced that this year's tour is their farewell tour! 20 years of being together, so it may be fitting in 2020 to take a break.
They say there are no solid plans following this year of touring, and may leave an opening for a comeback.

The first official day of winter is tomorrow, however, Brandy Wine and Boston Mills ski resorts are open today!
Slopes at Brandwine open at 3:30 and tubing begins at 4pm. Boston Mills is open now.

I was out there for many years with Andrew. He took up snow boarding at 7years old. I took it up a few years later.
My career didn't last but two season. ONe face plant on the side of the hill took care of that!

I admit this year, Christmas shopping is not fun any more. The kids are grown. I miss hunting for that hot toy! Reading lists written by little hands.
Setting up the video camera so it caught the very moment the children saw the gifts under the tree! The pure wonderment of it all for them.
My son is actually travelling on Christmas this year. He leaves that morning with his girlfriend to travel to England to see his sister and
her husband. I am happy they will be together, but our house will be quite quiet! It's time for us to start traveling on Christmas I think!!

Well the vintage decorations are back! After you celebrate Thanksgviving with the family, make plans to bring them downtown to enjoy
these beautiful displays. The exibit runs Friday through January 5th!
The movie Frozen 2 opens tonight, but you can see Princess Anna and Queen Elsa at the Akron Zoo's Wild Lights all this season!
Characters will be on hand from 6-8pm each day of the event. It runs Nov. 29th through Dec.30th!
The bells are ringing! The 2019 Salvation Army Kettle Campaign is underway for the 128th year!
You will hear and see the familiar ringing of the bells by volunteers everywhere, but this year there is a new way to donate.

Remember that the Salvation Army assists in disaster relief, provides shelter, and also serves veterans, children and the elderly!
