I have been a part of the last 13 Bosom Buddies events, and this year was amazing.
First it was another sell out, Michael Ray performed, the oral auction was killer, and even the silent auction went crazy.
One person bought up most of it! We always add in a few more dollars that were collected throught out the year including
our first 5k run . Drum roll please......78,150 thousand dollars for 2019.
Of course this would not have been accomplished without the generosity of our listeners!
You rock!!

The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame announced it's lineup of inductees for 2020. Once again raising the ire of many!
It seems anyone and everyone can get in. I feel eventually everyone will get in! Included in the list are Whiteny Houston,
The Nororious B.I.G, Rufus featuring Chaka Khan. Hmmmm, rock and roll? Maybe it should have been called the
Music Hall of Fame?! Too be fair, Todd Rundgren, Thin Lizzy and Judas Priest were also on the list. No Country
artists so far!!
Summit County is hosting Dogtober! If you are considering adding a fur baby to your family, this may be the perfect time.
The adoption event is going on at Summit Animal Control through November 2.
The price for a dog or a cat will be discounted, plus have a dog license and be fully vetted.
Speaking from experience, adopting is a very heart fullfilling adventure. I am a huge advocate and have loved my Boo girl for
13 years now. SCAC us located at 250 Opportunity Parkway in Akron. 330-643-2845
The weather has been so beautiful this week with sunshine in the day time and clear skies at night.
This weekend look for the Big Orange Hunter's Moon...It is the first full moon following the autumnal equinox and the Harvest Moon.
Saturday weather is calling for rain, however, Friday night and Sunday should provide for a good view. One of my favorite things to do
is look up at the night sky. Enjoy !
The 20th Annual Making Strides for Breast Cancer walk netted 120 thousand dollars this weekend.
I have been a part of the event since it's inaugural year! Akron should be proud, they out do many
other big cities right here in Ohio! Proud to be from Akron. This money will go towards research, and the many programs
that support those battling breast cancer. Remember, you are not alone!
