Get the tissues. The folks at SportsCenter on ESPN had Cleveland Brown's QB Baker Mayfield write his mom a letter, BUT!!! What they didn't tell him was that she was in the next room and listening to every word! Gotta love this kind of 'feel good' stuff!!

Luke Combs has released his next single "Beer Never Broke My Heart" earlier this morning, Scott & Sarah played it for you, and we gave it another listen tonight during Trending Tracks! This song the first taste (no pun intended) of an upcoming sophomore album and is the sixth single that he's released. His first five singles have all reached #1 on the charts and he is the first country artist in history to accomplish this. Could this song make it six for six and continue to make history for Luke?
Many are calling this the song of the summer, including Carly Pearce...

In a few weeks, I will have the honor again being the Honorary Chairperson for the Habitat For Humanity of Summit County Annual Golf Outing. I am very proud of it, and proud I have been for about the last 10 years. And the picture above, is the highly esteemed WQMX Golf Team (Well, maybe not highly esteemed LOL. But we have fun!) which has played in this outing the past decade.
This incredible outing is Monday July, 29 at the amazing Hudson Country Club, and we would love to have you join us. Click below and get all the information you need. If you want to enter a team, or be a sponsor that would be great. This outing is everything you would imagine. Good times, prizes, course and food.
Habitat is sincerely a remarkable organization, and the cause, and the local people in it are worth supporting. I am still learning about all the fantastic services they provide to those who need it. Click here to see all they do in our area!
I look forward to meeting you and seeing you there. Mark this on your calendar and let's support this worthwhile cause.
“When you ask someone a question, it makes them feel important. When they answer it, it makes you feel important.”
It seems like the most basic of things, but it’s really not anymore. Asking questions. While we communicate differently now more than ever, one thing has changed more than most. We don’t ask each other near enough questions. You may not realize it day to day, but being asked a question makes you feel good. Very good in fact under the right circumstances. When someone asks you a question, it makes you feel important, because they are showing interest, they care about what you think, or they want to know how you feel. All three are pretty cool.
But sometimes we minimize the asked question, or forget its origin. A question comes from someones curiosity about – you. Some questions are harder to hear than others, and some are tough to answer. But more likely than not, when you to answer honestly, the air is clear and a better feeling can begin. And for the questions easy to ask, and easy to answer, the sky is the limit on how good that can make you feel. Think about the best question you have ever been asked. Whatever it was, you answered it, and you felt very important at that moment.
And the cool thing is, the answer you gave to whatever that amazing question was, made the one who asked, even happier. This is how we get to know each other, how we get inside, how we connect, bond, go deep. The power of the question can do that. Many times, we are so focused on making statements, we forget to ask the questions. When in fact, the only way to get the answers that can make you feel good, requires you to flatter them, and make them feel good – first.
Mother’s Day is Sunday and I am so blessed to say my mom is my best friend.
She is so special to me. She is my go to for all advice on all things because she knows everything. She could be a doctor, a psychologist, an interior design, a personal shopper, you name it- my mom knows something on the subject or will learn in mere minutes. She is funny, loving and the most giving person I know.
A daughter’s relationship with her mother is special- one that is hard to describe and one that is explained in glances, winks, hand gestures and memories. My love for her knows no end.
It is impossible for me to imagine my life without her, and there are so many of you out there that spend Mother’s Day remembering your mothers. I saw this poem recently and it stopped me in my tracks and gave me such comfort:
Your mother is always with you. She is the whisper of the leaves as you walk down the street. She is the smell of certain foods you remember, flowers you pick, the fragrance of life itself. She’s the cool hand on your brow when you’re not feeling well. She’s your breath in the air on a cold winter’s day. She is the sounds of the rain that lulls you to sleep, the colors of a rainbow, she is Christmas morning. Your mother lives inside your laughter. She’s the place you came from, your first home, and she’s the map you follow with every step you take. She’s your first love, your first friend, even your first enemy, but nothing on earth can separate you. Not time, not space...not even death.
Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms out there, no matter where you are. To my MAMA- I love you so so much. I wish I could say more than thank you for all that you have done for me, but it always comes out as I LOVE YOU!
