My sister and I took my mom out for Mother's Day this past weekend, and it worked out better for so many reasons- scheduling and the weather! We took her shopping and to dinner at Alexander Pierce on East Market St in Akron.

Oh my goodness, this place is fantastic. They are know for their steaks, seafood and pasta and they delivered. My sister and I got steaks and mom got pork chops. It was all amazing. They have a great atmosphere and an adorable patio.

Check them out for sure because we will so be back!

Granger Smith talks baby names…

Florida Georgia Line's coming to a drive-in theater near you. 
The show will be broadcast to drive-ins and movie theaters across the country, for one night only, on June 12th.
Chase Rice and Nelly will also be performing.

Granger Smith and his wife Amber revealed the name they'll give to their son when he arrives this summer. 
 Maverick Beckham is the name to honor their late son River, who drowned in the family's pool two years ago. Beckham means "home by the river."
The Smiths have two other children, seven-year-old son Lincoln and nine-year-old daughter London.

Last night we had the honor to attend a Thank You event for NEOPAT- Northeast Ohio Foundation for Patriotism. It was an evening to thank donors, supporters and partners.

During the night, they also honored a gold star honoree- a veteran who paid the ultimate sacrifice. This is not the first one of these I have attend. Each time, I am reminded of all the wonderful work NEOPAT does for military families in our community. In the 10 years they have been serving our community, they have raised and given back $3.7 MILLION dollars to local military families. I am honored and proud to be a small part of that.

Kelsea and Kane are hosting the CMT Awards…

Carrie Underwood and Luke Bryan are headed to Las Vegas.
Carrie will start her residency at The Theater at Resorts World Las Vegas on December 1st and it will run for a total of 6 dates over the month of December. Luke Bryan will also have a residency at The Theater, with six shows in February starting on the 11th.
Tickets for both go on sale May 24th. 

Kelsea Ballerini and Kane Brown will host the 2021 CMT Music Awards. 
This is Kane's second year hosting the show, Kelsea’s first. The awards will air June 9th on multiple networks including CMT.
