In my quest to stay on the healthy eating track, I want to share two of my latest food finds!

Beanitos- white bean chips. They are 10 net carbs per serving and they help with my tortilla chip cravings. They are super delicious with salsa, guacamole or by themselves and they come in so many flavors, but you gotta like beans! 

Waterloo Sparkling Water- GAME CHANGER! Zero calories, sugars and sodium and it tastes amazzzinggg! I miss the fizziness of pop, and this the job done. Black Cherry is my person favorite flavor and this is a perfect substitute for club soda if you are looking to watch your calories if you are having an adult beverage!!! It just jazzes it up! (I buy both items at Acme Fresh Market.) 

Of course, I can admit a bag of Doritos and some pop are much better- but, these will do! Happy eating!

Shania Twain has landed a role in I Still Believe, a movie about the life of Christian music singer Jeremy Camp.
Shania will play his mother, Terry Camp. The film also stars Gary Sinise.
Look for the movie to open next March.

Carrie Underwood is returning to to American Idol to perform for the season finale. 
Also joining the lineup are Kane Brown, Jon Pardi and Dan and Shay. Luke Bryan will perform his new single, "Knockin' Boots."
The finale airs this Sunday on ABC.

I had the biggest craving for Cabbage and Noodles with Kielbasa, so yesterday I went for it. With some advice from my friends, some trial and error, a dash of guessing- it all turned out so good!

I cut up one head of cabbage, some onions, put in a half a stick of butter, some garlic powder, salt and pepper and let it cook. Then I added my kielbasa, more butter and then egg noodles once the other mixture was cooked and seasoned to my liking. I made a separate batch for me with lentil noodles for a lower carb recipe.

I was so impressed with how well it turned out! Leftovers for days!

After hearing your moral dilemma a few weeks ago asking about which way you put your silverware in the dishwasher, it sparked a rowdy conversation in my household.

I asked- should you eat mac and cheese with a fork or a spoon? We are a house divided. My wife and daughter say fork, me and my son say spoon. I say we need ask Scott and Sarah to settle it.
