We are back at it this week for the WQMX Bowling League. This is the last week to get registered. In this league at Turkeyfoot Lanes in Akron, you get exclusive access to concert tickets, ticket stops, gas cards, Rolling Greens Mini Golf passes, 50/50 raffle and tons more!

The Dixie Chicks are making a new album…
Dierks Bentley broke bones in his left hand..

The Dixie Chicks have a new album coming...we just don't know when it will be out.
The gals made a vague announcement on Instagram teasing the project saying that they are in the studio working.

Dierks Bentley spent yesterday in a Colorado emergency room after he injured his hand in a mountain bike accident. 
He called into a local news station after he was released and said he wiped out on the road and broke some bones in his left hand. 
Dierks pointed out that he doesn't play guitar much during his shows and holds his beer in his right hand.
The Burning Man tour continues on this weekend and he will make a stop at Blossom on July 25th.

As of today we are 6 months away from Christmas! Can you believe it?! This got me to wonder- why do we celebrate Christmas in July and not Christmas in June since June is the 6 month marker to Christmas…

Come to find out the answer makes some sense! Christmas in July is celebrated in the Western hemisphere because July is the middle of their winter and usually their coldest month. So they are just celebrating a cold Christmas like well, we try to do in December. Apparently, we just picked up the tradition of Christmas in July as a reason to party! HA!
