It's 2021 Akron Parks Week going on now til May 16th.  

The City of Akron, Akron Parks Collaborative, Keep Akron Beautiful and The Davey Tree Expert Company all come together for this wonderful week.  Akron Parks Week, is your chance to help beautify parks, neighborhoods and our city with volunteer opportunities, free community events.

Last year around this time.  A mysterious nest appeared on the garage.  The nest fell and my wife created a makeshift nest out of a planter.  The birds lived, grew up to be healthy birds, and are probably entering the finest schools in the area.  Here is a picture of them. 

This year, we hoped that we would be bird free... wait around till our baby birds graduate and spread their wings and fly. 
Then just this week, a new nest popped up.  Looks like there will be another summer for the birds.

I have a tiny yard.  If I had a Beer I would mow the whole neighborhood, especially if I had this thing... 

Kudos, your lawnmower is cooler.

I need to start working on a Ben Beer to rival the Ron Beer!

So Tom Brady was at the Super Bowl Boat Parade walking around like Bernie from 'Weekend at Bernies'.   Tom Brady showed up at the Kentucky Derby in grand fashion, over the weekend.  He walked around looking like another movie character.

There were a lot more.  But you get the point.  I imagine his rebuttal to all the shade being thrown his way would be all his rings make him look like the G.O.A.T...  or I imagine that is what he would say.

I think it is best to mix the rules of all games but basically.  It's tiered rules determining how and what you drink.

Maybe my Drinking Game Rules would be:

Sip...when: 

• The announcers share a heartbreaking personal story about a prospect
• Every time the cameras cut to NFL team’s war room
• “We’re so happy we’ve got fans back this year” 
• Someone takes a quarterback in the first round that didn’t have a first round grade
• A quarterback’s hand size is brought up
• A player’s suit matches the team that drafted him
• A player is on camera looking at phone

Drink... when:

• A player is hugged by Goddell.
• Opting Out of Season comes up
• Quarterback drafted
• A Trade Occurs
• Team's Fans Boo Their Pick
• Anytime (Huge Upside, High Ceiling, High Motor, Character Issues, All the Throws, Plays well in Space, Big Board, Best Player Available, Day 1 Starter and Intangibles are used by announcer.)

Finish your drink when:

• A player cries and hugs family
• Joe Thomas is referenced on a boat fishing
• Terminal Tower or a Cleveland Landmark appears
• When someone praises North East Ohio
• Any Hall of Fame References, shots or stories

We are all fired up for the NFL Draft!  Once the NFL Draft Weekend is officially over what then?  For a number of Browns Draft Picks they will be welcomed to town and can get to work on a new season.  

There are a lot of other questions bigger than draft weekend that need to be worked on immediately.  The Cleveland Aquarium is teaming with the NFL to address a major concern to everyone.  A 1-hour documentary called "100 Yards of Hope" was recently released.  It is also available to watch thru May 2nd.  The documentary is below... Kudos to the Greater Cleveland Aquarium, NFL Green and Force Blue for the preservation and restoration of coral reef off of Miami.

Beard About This One.. I mean, HEARD About This One?

There is an interesting Tribute to Billy F. Gibbons the show will be recorded on May 16th at the Grand Ole Opry.

Eric Church, Brad Paisley and Travis Tritt are just some of the performers.

I wonder if they will be growing beards for this one?  Kidding...

I have heard a number of tracks off of Heart and all have been music to my ears.  

Another person who has a knack for telling stories... scary good ones!  The author really took "The Stand" on this one...
