Hopefully you and yours had a Merry Christmas and Happy Holiday... AND STAYED WARM.
This may turn up the heat as we still have one more big party to welcome in 2023.
We had 'Christmas In The Country Fest' the past few weeks. Win Tickets to the party of the Summer, in the Winter!
Here is one of The Country Fest Performers Jon Pardi who hosted Campfire Sessions on CMT for the Holiday.
He is playing one of my favorite Christmas Songs. I'm just gonna say it Country Fest is gonna be a Pardi!
On the Christmas Episode Tracy Lawrence, Lilly Rose and many others made an appearance.
As you may know...
Every week I do a 'Feel Good Friday' something you may want to call in to the Cricket Wireless Studioline 330-370-2000. It is brought to you by Holiday Valley. You can feel free to call those humble brags, community events, birthdays, anniversaries or just something that will put a smile on our faces leading into the weekend. Last week, Joey had a special engagement planned. Jen had a group dinner with all her girlfriends from high school. Jackie had a birthday. What great 'Feel Good Friday's' will we hear this week? Call'em in if you have one...
Here is a pretty special one that put a smile on my face for the area. Some of our biggest and most respected athletes supporting the Boys & Girls Club of Northeast Ohio. You may remember Kane Brown has been a big supporter of this great organization, he donated a gym back in March. Sure, it's not a Kane Brown song in the promo but the support for this organization from all of it's supporters speaks volumes... And our local Cleveland Mega Superstar Athletes supporting is huge as well.
If you would like to donate. Click Here.
It's prime cuffing season. Where singles look for a companion to make it thru the holidays with: Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, Valentine's Day and then it is break-up season, or uncuffing season.
If you are looking for a last minute gift for a single person in your life. I have the answer. If they are looking for tall, dark and handsome... maybe the 5'7' and a slender 7 lbs, sounds perfect. It is the Puffy Bear!

The first installment was a hit.

Lunch or dinner at the Golden Girls Pop Up Restaurant in Manhattan.
Think of throwing a party and inviting everyone you know....
Golden Girls' Kitchen... is open Wednesday - Thursday, thru the end of February.
Your reservation would be for 90 minutes and includes a main course and a slice of cheesecake.
Now the question is do they play the Theme Song during the whole 90 minute meal.
Has anyone seen Sarah Kay??? Oh, she must be making a reservation...
Well it is that time of year... Well Bah-Hum-Bug to the Grinches! Maybe my Off-The-Top 10 Christmas Songs will put the Fah in your Fah-lalalalalah.....

The Drifters - White Christmas
Travis Tritt - Santa Looks Like Daddy
Brenda Lee - Rockin Around The Christmas Tree
Bing Crosby - Mele Kalikimaka or Jake Owen's Version too.
Elvis Presley - Blue Christmas
Paul McCartney - Wonderful Christmastime
The Waitresses - Christmas Wrapping
Bing Crosby - It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas
Dominick The Donkey
There are a ton more... this was just off the top of my head.
So you kick back to relax to some country music this fine evening. It's Ben, sure appreciate you having me and 94.9 WQMX on your radio, app, or stream...
When you think of Rodney Atkins "If You're Going Through Hell"... This is probably not what pops into your mind.
Yeah, it's "Country Goes Metal" the 5 song EP is due in March. (it might be interesting seeing the actual artists do the song in a different genre, I don't know about this.)
The re-imagined songs will be Chris Young's "Losing Sleep", Sam Hunt's "Leave The Night On", Montgomery Gentry's "My Town" and Dustin Lynch's "Small Town Boy".
Maybe metal goes country should have been the angle but we'll see... I'm not going to hold my breath.
Put a little or maybe a lot of Country in your Christmas. Tonight on ABC they have 2 specials.
First, CMA Country Christmas at 9pm. Check out Carly Pearce, Old Dominion, Scotty McCreery, Dan & Shay, Maren Morris and others belting out songs of the season.
The second special follows the first. ABC News Superstar Series features Reba McEntire. The line-up to talk about Reba is a who's who of country... Carrie Underwood, Darius Rucker, Dierks, Dolly, Lainey Wilson, Luke Bryan, Luke Combs, Miranda, Vince Gill and Wynonna Judd...
Should be a great night of country music. If you miss them I belive they will be on Hulu tomorrow.
