Remember when a milkshake was a milkshake?

I haven't had a milkshake since...gosh, I can't even remember! I know it's been years, maybe even a decade or more since I had one. But today, for whatever reason, as I was standing in a local Arby's restaurant looking at the menu board, I spotted the Jamocha shake...and it sounded good. I figured it would come in a regular soft drink cup, flat plastic lid and a straw, just like I remember from 25 plus years ago. I was quickly reminded that "today's" milkshakes have a lot more going on. Everywhere you get one, it's: Triple thick, whipped cream topping, fudge drizzle, maybe some sprinkles and a cherry on top. Don't forget not only a straw, but you better get a spoon with that too. And I hope you don't feel like drinking it for about 30 minutes so it can melt into some sort of liquid consistancy. Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining. Just pointing out how things have changed. Because I ordered one...and man was it good! ;)

“The River Smith Tribute shirt is now on sale. 100% of the proceeds from this shirt will go to Dell Children’s Medical Center in honor of River Kelly Smith. River was Granger and Amber Smith's youngest son who tragically passed away on June 6, 2019. He was cared for by the wonderful staff at Dell Children’s before he passed away. This shirt has a Yee Yee Excavator on it (Riv's favorite thing to do was watch excavators scoop up dirt) and is red- Riv's favorite color.

Hey Dads...

To all the dads, daddys, pops or papas, step-dads, fathers-in-law, father figures, and any other guy who ever stepped up and assumed the role of a father, whether biological or not...Happy Father's Day to you!
I stopped by Ganley Ford the other day (to get the oil changed in my Ford Explore and to say hello to some friends that work there) and I ran into General Manager Tom Yerace. He had some pretty cool news for me. He was telling me about the (relatively new) Ganley-run diesel truck dealership that's just down the road from Ganley Ford in Barberton. I told him that I was unaware that it was even there! He said that a LOT of people are unaware of it...but won't be for long. So if you're in the market for a new or used diesel truck with a Power Stroke, Cummins, Duramax, etc...get to Diesel Max Trucks at 3060 Barber Rd. in Barberton. Check 'em out at www.dieselmaxtrucks.com!
Don't go to the Dominican Republic. That is all. You're welcome. ;)
