Keith Urban won two trophies at Australia's Country Music Channel Awards, which took place in Brisbane.

He picked up the honors for International Artist of the Year, as well asInternational Video of the year for "Cop Car."

Eric Church has proven once again that he's a force to be reckoned with.

Last year, he took a stand against ticket scalpers. Now he's going after unlicensed merch dealers. His lawyers have filed a lawsuit to stop vendors from selling unauthorized T-shirts which resemble the official ones, but are not the same quality, outside of concert venues. He's also seeking damages from the vendors caught doing it.

Former Steel Magnolia singerMeghan Linsey is competing on this season ofThe Voice and this week she duked it out in the Battle Rounds with another singer.

Pharrell Williams, who served as their coach, praised both singersbut ultimately chose to keep the other guy. The remaining judges all had the opportunity to “steal” Megan.

After hearing each coach’s statement, she chose Blake as her new coach (Interestingly, Blake was the only

coach who did not turn around during Meg’s Blind Audition).

Trace Adkins has landed a role in the NBC medical drama Night Shift. He's been cast as the leader

of a veteran's therapy group in an episode that will air in May.

The part is a perfect fit for Trace, who is a spokesperson for the Wounded Warriors Project.

Garth Brooks' 1999 pop concept record was a much-criticized venture, but he says he wouldn’t mind doing a sequel.

If you recall he took on an alter ego as a pop singer forGarth Brooks in … the Life of Chris Gaines, a
record that cast him as Gaines, an Australian alternative pop-rock singer who is deeply conflicted by his life in the public eye.

Garth says- “I love the music, and that’s what it’s all about. Would I love to do a second one? Sure.
Would I ever drop that much weight again? I don’t think I could.”

He has hinted that his next album might be another creative stretch, since he’s looking for ways to
keep fans engaged in album-length work.

Jake Owen shocked fans when he chopped off his signature long hairlate last year, trading it in for
something short and simple. But then he started to grow it back out and the haters came out - well he put that to a halt.

In a post on Facebook, Jake recently revealed he got tired of people “hating on” him for the in-between look, so he cleaned up his ‘do yet again.

He chopped it under his wife and mother’s influence and it does look much better. You can see the
pic on the WQMX Facebook page.
