Billy Ray Cyrus and Kellie Pickler are returning to TV courtesy of CMT.
Billy Ray will star on a scripted series called ‘Still the King’ where he will
play an Elvis loving preacher. Kellie along with her songwriter husband,
Kyle Jacobs will star in a new reality series tentatively called ‘I Love Kellie Pickler.’
Dierks Bentley wants to keep fans in the loop as he plans his Sounds of Summer tour,
so he's keeping us up to date with special videos that he'll post all trough the trek.
He says, "Last summer was hard to beat for me personally. It was the perfect collision
of the music with the energy of the fans. I really want them to be able to experience
it like I do get to see more of what happens backstage and what
I get to see from the stage looking out to the back of the lawn.
We've got a lot more great memories ahead of us."
The Sounds of Summer tour kicks off on June 5th in Raleigh, North Carolina
and Dierks will stop at Blossom the next night- June the 6th!

Aerosmith's Steven Tyler has confirmed what has been long-rumored --
he's making a country album.
He made the announcement with a surprise appearance at the Grand Ole Opry.
He joined Eric Paslayfor an acoustic performance and talked about his country future.
He even had a writing session with Eric recently.
Steven told Rolling Stone last year, "I grew up in the woods of New Hampshire...
I have more country in me than people think."
No word on a release date.
Eric Church,Reba and Keith Urban have signed on for the third annual ACM
Party For A Cause Festival.
Also among those who've just signed on for the the two-day fest areJake Owen,Brooks and Dunn,Lady Antebellum,Brantley Gilbert,
Alan Jackson,Cole Swindell,The Band Perry,and Sara Evans. They join the likes of
Dierks Bentley,Miranda Lambert,Kenny Chesney,Florida Georgia Line,Luke Bryan,
Darius Rucker and many others in the lineup.
The ACM Party for a Cause Festivalruns April 17th and 18th in Arlington, Texas -- and will be taped for the CBS special ACM Presents: Superstar Duets, which will air on May 15th.
Brett Eldredge is arguably one of country music’s most eligible bachelors,
and in a recent interview he explained why he won’t be the next Bachelor
on the popular TV show.
He said-“It’s a flattering thing that People magazine came out and said
‘He should be the next Bachelor,’ but all this touring, man.I just don’t have time
to do it right now, but I’ve been a bachelor for a while, so I guess I’m at least kinda
good at that part of it.”
So, he won’t be looking for love and handing out roses, but what about receiving them?
When asked about being on The Bachelorette, he said, “That sounds fun.”

Keith Urban premiered the video for "Raise 'Em Up" on Late Night
With Conan O'Brien last night. Keith got the idea for the video when
he was filming his daughters jumping in slow motion on his phone.
Hey says “That’s all that they were doing, just jumping up in the air in slo-mo. We put ‘Raise ‘Em Up’ on and were watching this film of our girls, and they
just went together beautifully. It was so simple and emotional, and it captured some
of the spirit of what I feel is at the heart of this song.”
The video, which also features Eric Church, was shot in Nashville last month.
Luke Bryan had surgery, but don’t panic! It was nothing major! He used Twitter to
assure his fans that his elbow is fine after a minor surgery. After pictures surfaced
of with his arm in a cast, the Twitterverse was abuzz with questions about the
severity of the injury, and how he managed to injure himself. Luke tweeted:
‘No biggie. Minor surgery on a tendon on my elbow. Been putting it off. All good.’
Although there’s no official word as to what caused him to need the minor surgery,
it could be that it was chronic tendonitis.Thanks to some of Nashville’s finest doctors,
though, he will be back in business and on tour later this month.

Darius Rucker rings in Southern Style’s release today with “Homegrown Honey”
at number-one on the Mediabase country chart. It’s his seventh number-one single following “Wagon Wheel,” “Come Back Song,” “This,” “Alright,”
“It Won’t Be Like This For Long” and “Don’t Think I Don’t Think About It.”
Brooks and Dunn will perform together on TV for the first time in five years at the
Academy of Country Music Awards.
Alan Jackson, Martina McBride, Brad Paisley, Lady Antebellum, Little Big Town,
Rascal Flatts,Dan and Shay, Christina Aguilera and Nick Jonas have also been added
to the lineup. Christina will perform a surprise duet, and Nick Jonas will
sing with Dan and Shay.
They join previously announced performers Jason Aldean, Dierks Bentley,
Garth Brooks, Luke Bryan, Kenny Chesney, Eric Church, Miranda Lambert, Reba,
Blake Shelton,George Strait, Keith Urban and Florida Georgia Line, as well as
New Artist of the Year nominees Sam Hunt,Thomas Rhett and Cole Swindell.
The Academy of Country Music Awards, hosted by Blake and Luke, will air live on
CBS from AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texason April 19th.

The first full picture of Carrie Underwood’s baby boy Isaiah has hit the Web!
He made his Instagram debut Sunday to celebrate dad Mike Fisher heading to the
NHL playoffs with the Nashville Predators.
Sharing a picture of baby Isaiah napping with a miniature hockey stick, Carrie posted,
“The Predators are in the playoffs! Just waiting to get called up! #PutMeInCoach”
Jennifer Nettles joined forces with Jennifer Hudson to perform a song called “You Will,”
which will serve as the new theme song for Oprah’s OWN television network. Penned by
Diane Warren, the song encourages listeners to boldly pursue their dreams and never give up.
