Eric Church will play a rare solo acoustic show to inaugurate Nashville's new
Ascend Amphitheater.
The 6800-capacity outdoor venue located at Nashville's Riverfront Park opens their doors on
July 30th with Eric's show. So far he's the only country artist on the schedule
for the balance of the year.
Billy Currington’s sixth studio album, Summer Forever, just got a release date!
The 12-track collection comes out June 2nd.
The album features songs co-written byFlorida Georgia Lineand Cole Swindell.
And The Cadillac Three’s Jaren Johnston co-wrote the lead single, “Don’t It.” June 2nd- mark it on the calendar!!!!

Miranda Lambert appears in People magazine's Most Beautiful issue without makeup.
It's actually the way you'd find her at home in Oklahoma. She says,
"When I'm just off and hanging out, I just put on some tinted moisturizer and sunscreen
and mascara. And lip gloss! It's kind of an addiction."
She also says it's a look that Blake Sheltonloves. "He's one of those dudes who's like,
'You look prettier without it... He sees me the same, whether I have a whole glam squad
or I'm just hanging out at home."

Congrats to Reba! Her album, ‘Love Somebody’ debuted at #1 on this week’s Country albums chart.
This is her first album in 5 years and 27th overall. This is marks Reba’s 12th career Country
album chart-topper, and on the all-genre album chart, ‘Love Somebody’ ranked #3 overall this week.
Congrats also to Little Big Town for notching the largest one week sales figure of a
Country track so far in 2015, moving over 97,000 in digital sales of ‘Girl Crush’ last week.
Sales of their latest single improved 126% from the previous week, while taking them from
#29 to #7 rank, besting the likes of Nick Jonas and Ed Sheeran!!

Mindy McCready the Musical, a theatrical piece that follows the life of Mindy McCready,
will debut in Los Angeles on May 8th.
Co-written by Jennifer Blake, the musical follows her life from the early '90s when she was
a karaoke singer in Florida to her tragic death.
Randy Travis, who made a surprise appearance on Sunday's ACM Awards, just revealed
another surprise -- he's married.
Randy married longtime love Mary Davison March 21st in Texas. Following the awards,
he posted a note to his fans that read, "It is my prayer that, with continued healing,
one day soon, I will be back on that stage exchanging music with my fans…
My friends have brought me this far."
It's been almost two years since Randy suffered a debilitating stroke.

The Band Perry have revealed some of the initial details for their upcoming
third studio album. No name or official release date, but Neil Perry says: ‘We are anywhere from 75 to 90% done, so we agree on 82.’ The first single
is set for release sometime in June.
Sam Hunt has the number-one song this week on the Mediabase chart with “Take Your Time.”
It’s the second number-one from his gold-selling debut, Montevallo, and follows his breakout hit “Leave the Night On.”
Sam also has two number-ones as a songwriter -- Kenny Chesney’s “Come Over” and Billy Currington’s “We Are Tonight.” And Keith Urban
took Sam’s “Cop Car” to number-eight last May.
‘Take Your Time’ has also reached platinum status for over 1 million units sold and with Sam’s
album earning gold certification, this makes him the fastest debut county artist to earn the status since 2012.

Miranda Lambert wrote the song "Two of a Crime" for the movie Hot Pursuit,
starringReese Witherspoon and Sofia Vergara. Miranda said when
Reese contacted her, she knew she was in.
Miranda says, “Reese texted me and told me about the movie and wanted me to
write something or sing or both. I got inspired. I love Reese and Sofia. It was a bit of a
Thelma and Louisetheme, and that’s totally up my alley."
The song has both a Southern and Latin flavor, reflecting the background of the movie's
two stars.Hot Pursuit opens on May 8th.
Luke Bryanand Miranda Lambert were the big winners at Sunday’s 50th annual ACM Awards in Dallas.
Luke won the night’s top honor of Entertainer of the Year, marking his second win
in the category. Luke also shares Vocal of Event of the Year with Florida Georgia Line
for “This is How We Roll.”
Miranda led the night’s overall winners with four trophies in three categories.
She beat her own record for Female Vocalist, taking home her sixth consecutive win in
the category. Platinum won Album of the Year. Her win for Song of the Year for “Automatic” counts
twice as the award goes to both the songwriters and the artist.
FGL followed with two wins. Jason Aldean, Little Big Town, Lee Brice, Cole Swindell and
Dierks Bentley were the other winners.
Representatives from Guinness World Records were on hand to confirm that Sunday’s
event was the largest live awards show ever televised. Backstage, it was reported that
the show drew 70,252 attendees.
