The nominations are in, and Eric Church and Little Big Town are the front runners for the 49th annual
CMA Awards with five nods apiece.
Eric gets his first try in the Entertainer of the Year category, and picked up nods for Male Vocalist,
Single of the Year for "Talladega,"Song of the Year for "Like a Wrecking Ball" and Musical Event of the Year
with Keith Urban for "Raise 'Em Up."
Little Big Town are hopefuls in the Vocal Group of the Year category. They're also up for Single of the Year and
Music Video of the Year for "Girl Crush,"Album of the Year for Pain Killer and Musical Event of the Year for "Smokin'
and Drinkin'" with Miranda Lambert.
Kenny Chesney and Miranda have four nominations each.
Sam Hunt is up for three trophies. Also new to the nominations is Chris Stapleton, who's up forAlbum of the Year
for Traveller, New Artist of the Year and Male Vocalist of the Year. Kacey Musgraves has a shot at three awards
and Kelsea Ballerini, Luke Bryan, Blake Shelton and Carrie Underwood each have two nominations.
The 49th annual CMA Awards, hosted by Carrie and Brad Paisley, will air live on ABC from Nashville's Bridgestone
Arena on November 4th.

Luke Bryan continues his reign as king of the country album charts with Kill the Lights.
It's been country's top-selling album since its release last month.
Maddie and Tae make an impressive showing with their full-length debut, Start Here, taking the second spot in its first week out. Rounding out the top 3 is
Sam Hunt's Montevallo.
Jason Aldean is set to release the Burn It Down Photo Book exclusively to his fans through his website.
The book of photos taken by Ed Rode, gives fans behind-the-scenes access to the tour, award shows
and more. Pre-orders are being taken now on his website, jasonaldean.com and will be shipped on
November 25th.

Miranda Lambert has been named the 2015 recipient of the Nashville Symphony's 2015 Harmony Award.
The award is given to an individual who best exemplifies the harmonious spirit of Nashville’s musical
community.
Miranda says, “I have always felt that music is universal no matter what genre, and being recognized is an
honor. And the icing on the cake is I get to perform a few of my songs with the Symphony orchestra, which
is such a rare and out-of-this-world musical opportunity."
Past recipients include Faith Hill and Tim McGraw, Brad Paisley, Martina McBride, Rascal Flatts, Carrie Underwood,Taylor Swift and Keith Urban.
And that new version of Garth Brooks' "Friends in Low Places" is now on ice due to publishing rights issues.
But we can rejoice in the fact that Garth will be celebrating the 25th anniversary of the album in which song came
of, I'm talking about 'No Fences.'
Congrats going out to Dustin Lynch on landing at #1 on the charts once again. This time with ‘Hell of a Night’
got Dustin all the way to the top!
