Tyler Farr is on vocal rest following surgery to remove a polyp from his vocal cord.
He first noticed the problem while touring with Jason Aldean last year, and got the diagnosis after a severe
bout with bronchitis. Doctors removed the polyp and his prognosis is good, but he will need complete vocal
rest to heal.
He's cancelled all dates, including his tour with Lee Brice. Tyler says, “I hate cancelling shows, especially the upcoming
tour with my buddy Lee Brice, but I never want to give the fans less than everything... And I know the sooner I let my
body heal, the sooner I can get back out there.”
Lee Brice has added a few names to the lineup of his Life Off My Years tour due toTyler's vocal cord surgery.
Maddie and Tae, Jerrod Niemann andClare Dunn will take turns as special guests on the tour. Lee says, "Life happens.
I always stand by my friends, and I'm grateful that Maddie and Tae, Clare and Jerrod will join me on these dates. Touring
with Tyler promised a lot of fun, but knowing this group of artists, I wholeheartedly believe people coming to these shows
will have a great time. I can't wait to get on the road and mix it up with these guys -- I know I'm ready, and so are the fans."
Dylan Scott will remain as an opener for all of the shows.

Thomas Rhett’s sweet ballad “Die a Happy Man” has broken a record as it claimed the No. 1 spot on the Billboard
U.S. Country Airplay chart for the sixth week in a row, something that has not been done sinceTaylor Swift’s “Our Song”
in 2008.
Thomas said, “I seriously can’t believe this song has spent this long at number one. When you put a song out there as
personal as this, you hope it connects and resonates with people. But I could never have imagined it would connect like
this! And to mirror an achievement not seen since Taylor Swift — someone I really respect as a songwriter, performer
and entertainer — is just mind-blowing.”
Carrie Underwood will return to the Grammy Awards stage to perform next month.
Her latest single is “Heartbeat,” so it seems likely that is what she’ll perform. Rumor has it that Sam Hunt will join her —
he sings backup vocals on the track and is up for two awards that night. He’s also listed as a performer, though it isn’t
clear he and Carrie will sing together.
Carrie is nominated for Best Country Solo Performance for “Little Toy Guns.” The Grammys are on CBS on February 15th.

Brothers Osborne are celebrating their first number-one on the Mediabase chart this week with “Stay a Little Longer,” which is up for a Grammy for Best Country Duo/Group Performance.
John Osborne says watching the song go #1 is a huge win.
Charles Kelley wants Lady Antebellum fans to know that just because he’s releasing music as a solo act doesn’t
mean it’s the end of Lady A.
Last week, Charles and Hillary Scott met for a song writing session to write new music that will hopefully be on the group’s next album.

Miranda Lambert has a pretty full schedule lined up in the coming months. In addition to joining Kenny Chesney
on his Spread the Love tour, she's announced her own headlining run.
Her Keeper of the Flame tour will hit 26 cities including Austin, Chicago and Los Angeles. Kip Moore and Brothers Osborne
will go along as special guests.
They will all be at Blossom on July 28th!
Thompson Square is no longer a duo.
Keifer Thompson and Shawna Thompson, welcomed their first child together yesterday, a baby boy named
Rigney Cooper!
The couple said, "It's hard to explain this kind of love. We're so overjoyed. He's already got us wrapped around his
little finger."
