Congratulations go out to Lainey Wilson as she has landed her first Mediabase chart topping single with "Things a Man Oughta Know."
The song was inspired by lessons her parents taught her. 
She says,  "It's just about having good character. And it's about treating people the way you want to be treated. It's about the Golden Rule.  And that is not something just a man oughta know, that is something that every single one of us should know about being kind."
Lainey will be at Blossom with Jason Aldean on October 15th.

Ryan Hurd and Maren Morris have been nominated for the CMA's Musical Event and Music Video of the Year for their song 'Chasing After You.'
Ryan says he's jealous of Maren's ability to be so great at everything that has to do with being an artist.
