Pistol Annies' Christmas album, Hell of a Holiday, might not have happened if it hadn't been for pop singer Sia.
Ashley Monroe and Angeleena Presley had been wanting the trio to do a Christmas album, but Miranda Lambert was a holdout. She wasn't a fan of stale, old holiday music. That is, until she heard Sia's Every Day Is Christmas album.
Miranda says, "It was like, 'Oh, fresh and originals.' That got me loving Christmas music again because it was fresh. It opened my heart."
The Annies gathered at Miranda's farm last Halloween, where they dressed in Christmas sweaters and sipped hot toddies to write original songs for the album.

Dolly Parton is the holder of three new Guinness World Records.
She holds the record for most decades on the U.S. Hot Country Songs chart by a female artist with seven. She also is the record holder for the most number-one songs on the U.S. Hot Country Songs chart by a woman. And she tops the list for the most hits on the U.S. Hot Country Songs chart with 109.
