Garth Brooks and Metro Nashville are working together to keep the folks visiting downtown Nashville's bars, restaurants and sporting events safe and sound.
According to Billboard, the collaboration involves opening a police substation next to Garth's upcoming Friends in Low Places Bar and Honky-Tonk. Garth is reported to be footing the bill for the development of the facility.

Shania Twain, Martina McBride, Little Big Town and Tanya Tucker have been announced as special guests during the premiere season of the upcoming FOX country music-themed drama, Monarch.
The show, which stars Susan Sarandon and Trace Adkins, is set to debut with a two night event beginning September 11th after the NFL doubleheader, and continuing on September 20th in its regular timeslot.
