Jelly Roll has an unlikely friendship with Dwayne Johnson. He says the Rock reached out to him about 5 or so years ago because he is a fan of his music.
Another unlikely friendship that Jelly Roll has developed is with Cody Johnson. He and Cody will possibly collaborate soon for Cody's next album. 

For the first time in more than 20 years, country music has two records in the Top 5 of Billboard’s Hot 100 chart. Luke Combs’ “Fast Car” reached No. 4 on the chart this week as Morgan Wallen’s “Last Night” spends its 10th week at No. 1. According to Billboard, country records last shared space in the chart’s Top 5 when Lonestar’s “Amazed” and Faith Hill’s “Breathe” spent eight weeks together there in 2000.
