Jennifer Nettles is particularly pumped about her forthcoming album, Playing With Fire. She’s already given us a little taste
of the record with its first single, “Unlove You.”
She says, “I’m excited for fans to get to hear this album because I feel like in comparison toThat Girl, and That Girl was the
right record at the right time for me. But I recorded it when I had a 5-month-old child and it was a very specific time in my life. This record has a lot of that fire on it in the years that followed. I am
braver … There are lots of fire references in a lot of the songs which really for me is about transformation and I do feel
transformed. So I’m excited for people to get to hear a lot of that on this record.”
The new album doesn’t have a release date yet, but it should drop sometime in the spring (April or May).

lots of boots. But I just feel much more like a lady (in heels).” Now we know were she stands!!!!! Ha!
