Kelsea Ballerini, Chris Stapleton and Old Dominion are early winners of ACM Awards.
Kelsea gets the New Female Artist award, Chris takes New Male Artist and Old Dominion is the New Group/Duo of
the Year winner. These awards were previously fan-voted, but now are included in membership voting.
All three have chances to win in other categories -- Kelsea is also nominated for Female Vocalist of the Year, Chris leads the ACM nominations with six additional nods,
including Album of the Year and Male Vocalist of the Year, and Old Dominion also has a nomination for Vocal Group
of the Year.
The 51st Academy of Country Music Awards will air live from Las Vegas on April 3rd on CBS.
Chris Lucas of LoCash is a dad again!
His wife Kaitlyn gave birth to a healthy baby girl, named Remi McKenna, earlier this week. They couple also have
a five year-old son, Caden.

Congrats to the Zac Brown Band for scoring the #1 spot on the Mediabase Country singles chart this week with
their single “Beautiful Drug.”
This is the third single from their Jekyll + Hyde album, following “Loving You Easy,” which hit #1 in August and
“Homegrown,” which went to the top of the chart last April.
We rarely get to see Carrie Underwood's son Isaiah's face. But the other night, the NHL cameras took some family
photos of Carrie, her husband Mike Fisher and the little Isaiah at the 1000th-game celebration for Mike at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena. You can see the happy family pics on Carrie’s social
media pages.

Dolly Parton will team up with Katy Perry for a special performance at next month's ACM Awards.
The 51st ACM Awards, hosted by Luke and Dierks, air live from Las Vegas on April 3rd on CBS.
That cryptic, static message Kenny Chesney posted on social media last week turned out to be a not-so-subtle tease for his new single, "Noise."
Kenny says, “It seemed like everywhere I turn, everywhere I go, there is so much stuff coming at you. Your phone,
your car, on the streets, on TV. Everywhere it’s just so loud, so much, so many different things -- all pushing buttons, being sensational, shouting for attention. You can’t escape it, and you can’t turn it down.”
"Noise" comes out on Thursday.
Justin Timberlake has been spending some quality writing time with Little Big Town.
He posted a shot of Karen Fairchild, Kimberly Schlapman and himself on Instagram with the the caption,
"NBD... Just writing with Little Big Town. This band is the truth! So good!"
Justin is in the studio working on his own music, but at this point there's no word where the songs will land.
Nashville News: Monday, 3/21
Blake Shelton filed a new declaration in his $2 million defamation lawsuit against In Touch Weekly.
The lawsuit was filed last October after the magazine reported that he went into rehab after his divorce with
Miranda Lambert. The declaration says that Blake was furious to be depicted as a man who cannot do his job and
was close to death if he did not seek rehabilitation.
Blake also takes offense to accusations that his marriage to Miranda ended because of infidelity on his part.
Dustin Lynch fans you will be happy to know he is in the studio working on his third album. The record is still in it's
early stages, so he has no idea when it will come out.
Chris Stapleton will return to his alma mater, Johnson Central High School in Paintsville, Kentucky, for a special concert
this week. The free tickets for the March 24th show were snatched up in three hours.
Chris graduated from the school as valedictorian in 1996.
