Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani took to the stage on The Voice the other night with their new duet, "Go Ahead 

and Break My Heart."

Blake says that he began writing the song as a way to impress Gwen. He adds, "I started this song and wrote about half 

of it and sent it to her, and she wrote the other half of it. It was just kind of something for she and I to help us feel 

better about what we were going through."

As we know, Blake and Gwen had just gone through divorces before falling for each other.

Jason Aldean and Kid Rock will return to Boston’s Fenway Park on Sept. 10 following their previously sold-out first show on Sept. 9.

The Sept. 9 date sold out in under 90 minutes, prompting them to announce a second date. Jason was the first country 

artist to play Fenway Park and previously broke attendance records set by Paul McCartney and the Dave Matthews Band. 

Jason will be at Blossom on September 23rd!

Carrie Underwood, Cam and Chris Stapleton are the front runners for this year's CMT Music Awards with three 

nominations apiece, including the prestigious Video of the Year award. 

Blake Shelton, Brothers Osborne, Florida Georgia Line, Keith Urban, Kelsea Ballerini, Little Big Town, Luke Bryan, 

Maren Morris, Old Dominion, Sam Hunt and Thomas Rhett each have two nominations.

Fan voting is happening now at CMT.com and continues until June 6th. On June 1st, CMT will announce a brand-new surprise awards category.

The CMT Music Awards air live from Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on June 8th.

Congrats to Dierks Bentley. He is at #1 on the Mediabase chart this week with “Somewhere On a Beach.” 

This is his 14 career #1 and is the first single from his forthcoming album, “Black,” which comes out on May 27th. 

Dierks will be at Blossom next Friday, May 20th!

Carrie Underwood has made the annual 50 Most Powerful Moms list put out by Working Mother. She joins 

Adele, Beyonce, Reese Witherspoon, Chelsea Clinton, Ivanka Trump and others who have children under 18 on 

the list of working moms who “influence and inspire us to reach higher and farther in building better lives for ourselves.”

Florida Georgia Line are gearing up to release their third album,Dig Your Roots, this summer. In a recent interview, 

Brian Kelley and Tyler Hubbard revealed that they wrote a majority of their new album at an unusual location: 

Brian’s tree house in Nashville.

Brian said, “The cool thing about that is you can get outside of Music Row, outside of Nashville. Its got a whole 

bunch of windows. You got nature and deer, turkeys, every kind of insect, anything you can imagine out there. 

Anything goes out in the tree house.”

He adds that the duo’s new single, “H.O.L.Y.” — which is an abbreviation for “High On Loving You” — is a “big 

old love song.”
