If Dolly Partonhas her way, she may be singing with Snoop Doggin the near future.
Dolly said in a recent interview that she'd love to duet with the rapper someday. She says, "My husband loves him, by the way . . . so, it’s possible. My husband likes him
as a person. My husband just relates to him somehow. He’s the coolest guy!” As of now there are no plans for Snoop and Dolly to go in the studio.
Garth Brooks is approaching the finish line of his world tour.
The tour, which started on September 24th, 2014, has set attendance records in just about every city he's performed in.
He said, "We're making the turn. We've got our last 20 cities coming up. We'll be done at the end of November of next year and we’ve enjoyed it. It's been an unbelievable ride.”

Dierks Bentley has just announced that his What the Hell tour will get going early next year. Cole Swindell andJon Pardi will open the shows. The tour is named after a song on
Dierks’ latest album.
Last night, Tim McGraw and Faith Hill announced their Soul2Soul World Tour 2017 at their sold out show at the Ryman in Nashville. The tour will stop at the Q in Cleveland
on August 17th!
Dolly Parton will be the 2016 recipient of the Willie Nelson Lifetime Achievement Award, which will be presented during the 50th annual CMA Awards on November 2nd.
The Willie Nelson Lifetime Achievement Award goes to an iconic artist who has attained the highest degree of recognition in country music.
And CMT has named Shania Twain its 2016 Artist of a Lifetime. She is the first female to receive the award. She will be honored at the 2016 CMT Artist of the Year and will air on
CMT on October 20th.

Garth Brooks was honored by the state of Tennessee yesterday at a press conference at the state capitol.
Governor Bill Haslam acknowledged his recent seventh Diamond certification, for selling more than 10 million copies of seven separate albums.
That mark surpasses The Beatles.
Garth says it isn't about who has sold more records, it's strictly about the power of country music.
It has been an eventful few days for William Michael Morgan. On Friday, he released his debut album, Vinyl. And then this week, his debut single, "I Met a Girl,"
made its way to the top of the Mediabase Country Airplay Chart.
"I Met a Girl" was co-written Sam Hunt.
