Friday, 11/3

Cole Swindell to release a new EP…
CMA presenters announced…

Cole Swindell announced that he will be releasing the forth installment of his Down Home Sessions EP in November- it will titled Down Home Sessions IV and will be available on November 24th.

In addition to the EP, he will be touring in the coming months- though no cities or dates have been announced yet. I will keep you posted.

Lauren Alaina, Luke Combs, Brett Young, Dustin Lynch and Trisha Yearwood are among the presenters for next week's CMA Awards. 
Also presenting are NASCAR champ Jimmie Johnson, model Karlie Kloss, actress Lea Michelle, actor-director Tyler Perry and Pitch Perfect 3 stars Ruby Rose and Brittany Snow. 
LOCash will host the pre-televised portion of the show. 
The 51st Annual CMA Awards, hosted by Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood, will air live from Nashville on ABC this Wednesday.

Chris Young’s album is at #1…
Country singers are headed to NYC for the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade

Chris Young tops the Billboard Country Albums chart with Losing Sleep -- his second album to debut at number-one. 
He says, “While I co-produced my last two albums, this is the first record where I co-wrote every song. It’s been amazing to have such a great response to the new music, and I’m looking forward to playing it live on tour starting in January.”
And speaking of that tour- his Losing Sleep tour kicks off on January 11th in Indiana.

Lauren Alaina, Dustin Lynch, Cam and Sara Evans will ride atop floats during the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade on November 23rd. 
The parade will air live on NBC.

More tours announced for 2018…

Kelsea Ballerini has lined up her second headlining tour in support of her new album, Unapologetically.
The tour kicks off on February 8th in Birmingham, Alabama with Walker Hayes as her opener. 
Tickets go on sale Friday, the same day she releases her sophomore album. 

Thomas Rhett announced 30 dates for his Life Changes tour, beginning April 5th in Tulsa, Oklahoma and wrapping up October 27th in Sacramento, California. The first leg will bring along Brett Young as well as a rotation of guests including Russell Dickerson, Jillian Jacqueline and Carly Pearce. Midland will join him for the second leg, which kicks off in September. Tickets will go on sale beginning this Friday.

Blake Shelton hits the road for his Country Music Freaks tour next year. He'll get things going in his home state on February 15th with a show in Tulsa, Oklahoma. 
Trace Adkins, Brett Eldredge and Carly Pearce will be his support acts. 
Blake releases his Texoma Shore album on Friday.

Luke Combs scores his second number one...

Chris Stapleton and his wife are having twins...

Luke Combs has officially scored his second number-one hit on the Mediabase Country Airplay chart this week with "When It Rains It Pours." This is following his first number-one which was “Hurricane.” Luke says he plans to celebrate with some beer and whiskey!


Chris Stapleton and his wife Morgane are expecting twins. They will join the couple's son and daughter. 
Morgane celebrated their 10-year anniversary with a social media post (and babies announcement!). She said, "14 years, 2 babies, & 2 more on the way. Happy 10 year anniversary babe! You make my whole world go round."
