Dierks Bentley to release a new album…
Hillary Scott and her family to make adjustments in order to tour…

Dierks Bentley is set to release his new album, The Mountain, on June 8th.
He wrote and recorded the album in Telluride, Colorado after being inspired while playing the Telluride Bluegrass Festival last summer.
The album features guest appearances by Brothers Osborne, Brandi Carlisle and bluegrass greats Sam Bush, Tim O'Brien and Jerry Douglas.

When Lady Antebellum kick off their Summer Plays On tour with Darius Rucker, there will be a new drummer.
Hillary Scott's husband Chris, who is the drummer in the band, will sit this tour out to stay home with twins Emory and Betsy. They made the decision so Hillary can focus on performing and writing for the next album while on the road.
Chris said, "When you looked at whether the band could do without me or her, there wasn’t much question!”
They will be at Blossom on July 20th.

Collaborations coming to the ACMs
Kacey Musgraves has a #1 album…

Sunday's Academy of Country Music Awards will be loaded with collaborations.
It was announced that the ACMs Awards will feature a segment called ACM Flashbacks, Blake Shelton and Toby Keith will perform Toby's hit, "Should've Been a Cowboy," Alan Jackson and Jon Pardi will team up for Alan's "Chattahoochee" and Reba McEntire and Kelly Clarkson will sing Reba's "Does He Love You."
Darius Rucker, Dan and Shay and Chris Young also join the performance lineup.
The 53rd ACM Awards hosted by Reba will be broadcast live this Sunday on CBS.

Kacey Musgraves scored the #1 country album this week with Golden Hour and she landed at #4 on the all-genre album list. Her other two albums, Pageant Material and Same Trailer, Different Park, made good showings by debuting in the top 10. Also worth noting, Golden Hour is the highest-charting country album on the all-genre list since Luke Bryan’s What Makes You Country went #1 in December.

Blake Shelton gives Gwen Stefani props…
Carrie Underwood and Kelly Clarkson love each other…

Blake Shelton ordained Gwen Stefani with the title of "adopted Okie."
Gwen earned the nickname for her ability to find Indian arrowheads on his property in Oklahoma.
He wrote on Twitter, "Hey Gwen Stefani it's official... With your arrowhead finding eye you are now an adopted Okie!!! Side note: I love you pretty girl…#truth"
Blake included a picture of her catch -- 13 arrowheads!

American Idol and Nashville ladies stick together.
Recently, a website tried to pit Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood against each other in a poll to name the most popular American Idol winner.
Neither Kelly nor Carrie was impressed. First Kelly tweeted, "I think we’re both winning in life and pretty blessed! Singers, mamas, CEOs…#AmbitiousBlondes"
Carrie replied, "Whatever, girl, I voted for you! But seriously, I do wish more publications would just celebrate women’s success without pitting them against each other... Just my thoughts...anyway...Love ya’! Hope you’re well!"
In case you we’re wondering, Carrie is winning.

Carrie Underwood will perform at the ACMs…
Dustin Lynch got Brad Paisley a goat…

Speculate no more, it is official. Carrie Underwood will deliver new music- her brand new single at the 2018 ACM Awards this Sunday. The official news came yesterday via a press release, and Carrie has been teasing fans with hints on her social media pages. Her performance at the ACMs will be her first since November when she suffered injuries from a fall outside her home in Nashville.
Carrie is nominated for Female Vocalist of the Year. If she wins, it will be the fourth time she's taken home the trophy.

Dustin Lynch decided he wanted to give Brad Paisley something nice as a way to say thank you for having him as an opener on his Weekend Warrior Tour. So naturally he bought him a baby goat. While the two were performing Brad’s hit “I’m Still A Guy,” Dustin brought out the little goat on a leash and told Brad he got him the animal because he is the greatest of all time. The goats name- Telly after the Telecaster guitar.

Sugarland revealed their album cover…
Carrie Underwood revealed her face again…

Sugarland have revealed the cover of their new album, Bigger, which is due out June 8th- it features just the words bigger and Sugarland with what looks like a big top tent in the background. When asked why Jennifer and Kristian have never appeared on any of their album covers- Kristian answered by saying, “It makes the album about the music. Sugarland was never supposed to be about us or our faces. It was always supposed to be about the music and the listener.”

Carrie Underwood showed her face for the second time in the same week. This time the picture shows her rehearsing with her band and this has many speculating that she may do a surprise performance at the ACM Awards on the 15th.
As you may recall, Carrie needed stitches in her face after falling at home in November.
