Kenny Chesney is getting into spiced rum…
Carly Pearce found the person that makes her better…
Kenny Chesney's Blue Chair Bay Rum line has expanded with the introduction of spiced rum to the collection.
He says, “I drink spiced rum year-round. It’s got everything the best rum and flavored spirits do, but it’s also a little more complicated in terms of how much you can do with it... But when you factor in all the different things you can do with spiced, from drinking it on the rocks to creating cocktails with mixers, it surprises you."
Kenny kicks off his Songs for the Saints tour on April 4th in Louisville, Kentucky.
Carly Pearce got engaged to Michael Ray in Mexico over the holidays.
Though they haven't been a couple for very long, Carly says she and Michael have so much in common. They're both driven, share the same values, and they make each other better people.
She says, "That sentence of ‘find the person that makes you better,’ and I was always like, ‘Well what does that even mean?’ Because nobody I’m with, really, I feel like makes me better. I’m very independent. So I was always like very against that statement 'cause I never understood what that meant. And I get it now.”
Carly and Russell Dickerson kick off their co-headlining tour on January 24th in Cleveland at the House of Blues and Michael will be at the Dusty on March 2nd.

Dan + Shay stay at #1…
Maren Morris posts are confusing…
Dan and Shay’s single "Speechless" remains at the top for the fourth week in a row! The tune continues to top the Mediabase Country Airplay chart, becoming the first and only number-one hit in 2019. Again, the guys took to social media to thank fans, friends, family and country radio for their first 4 week #1. They said they were ‘speechless’ and preceded to well, give a speech!
Maren Morris has fans perplexed over her latest Instagram posts.
Late last week, she took to her social media to post nine, blank, off-white photos without any captions whatsoever.
Fans began speculating immediately that these "blank canvases" suggest that new music is on the way. Maren has said her sophomore album is done and will be a matter of time until it is released.

William Shatner is headed to the Grand Ole Opry…
Brett Eldredge is ditching his smartphone…
William Shatner will make his Grand Ole Opry debut on February 15th.
Captain Kirk himself, released a country album, Why Not Me, last summer.
He'll be joined on the Opry stage by Alabama's Jeff Cook, who wrote the songs and played on the record.
Brett Eldredge is trying to be more present this year by using his old flip phone.
He found his old phone and is challenging himself to stay in the moment by using it instead of his smartphone. He says, "Don’t get me wrong, there is a lot of amazing things about a smartphone...but I gotta take a moment to experiment and see what it’s like to be here, RIGHT NOW, lost in the music and not in a screen."
We wish him well!
