Reba is the CMT Artist of a Lifetime…

Canaan Smith is going to be a dad. He and his wife Christy are expecting their first child together. 
The couple says they love surprises so they don’t want to know the sex of the baby until he or she is born. No word on due date. 

Reba McEntire will be honored as an Artist of a Lifetime at this year's CMT Artists of the Year event. 
Reba says, “I have loved entertaining people since I was a little girl, and after being in the music business more than 40 years, I’m still having so much fun! For CMT to recognize me as the Artist of a Lifetime is pretty special."
Lifetime honorees who have come before her include Merle Haggard, Loretta Lynn, Shania Twain and Kenny Rogers.
The ceremony will air live from Nashville’s Symphony Center on October 16th.
