Dolly Parton is asking the Tennessee state legislature to remove a bill to have a statue erected in her honor. 
In classic Dolly fashion, she wrote on social media, "Given all that's going on in the world, I don't think putting me on a pedestal is appropriate at this time."

Russell Dickerson’s #1 song “Love You Like I Used To” has achieved a new milestone: It's now spent 21 weeks inside the top 10 on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart.
That puts the song in a tie for longest-running top-10 single with Lonestar’s “Amazed,” which achieved the same feat back in 1999.
