The corpse flower has finally bloomed again at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo! This flower has been at the zoo for 25 years and usually blooms every 7 to 10 years. It has been 7 years since this particular corpse flower bloomed.
It gets its name from its pungent smell- like a corpse. People are waiting in line to see this smelly, tall (it is about 63 inches tall) and oddly pretty flower.
So, grab the family and go see the corpse flower before it goes away again for 7 to 10 more years!
