Last night was the final night for the WQMX Summer Bowling League at Turkeyfoot Lanes in the Portage Lakes. We had a banquet with food from Acme and Guiseppe’s along with a fun medal ceremony and prizes galore for all my bowlers- who are all winners!!!

This league was so much fun and I can’t believe 12 weeks went by this fast. We bowled, bonded, laughed and bowled some more! Along with all of that, each week we had a 50/50 drawing with the money being raised for our WQMX Bosom Buddies and Tree of Lights charites. Over the 12 weeks, we raised over $1,000! Not only are these people super fun, they are giving and just awesome and that number is on top off all the money raised at the ticket stops over the summer!! Thank you! And, they put up with me and all my bowling puns, so that was a feat within itself ;)

Another thank you to the staff at Turkeyfoot Lanes- Dustin, Robin, Gene and Shannon. You took care of us all summer and were so hospitable. This bowling alley is a great place from the alley to the patio outside. They have leagues running year round along with dart leagues and leagues for kids- so check em out!!

It was a fantastic time this summer and I can’t wait to do it again! I can’t say thank you enough, so one more time, thanks and see ya’ll soon!
