Nashville News: Thursday, 2/4 Longtime wine enthusiast Zac Brown has put his name on a line of fine wines.  Z. Alexander Brown's first vintage, a Cab and Red Blend, is available now. Zac says, "Wine has always fascinated me  because of its inherent connection to the land and the artistry necessary to craft a distinct and memorable experience." Zac's website says that the wines, which are crafted on California’s North Coast, are "reflective of the unlimited potential  that can result from artists with a passion for bringing food, people and a sense of place together through creativity."   Dierks Bentley will open his third Whiskey Row bar and restaurant next year. Whiskey Row will have three stages for  live music, a made-from-scratch menu and more than 50 beers and craft cocktails. The new location will be on Lower Broadway in Nashville, down the block from the Ryman Auditorium. The two other  Whiskey Row locations are both in Arizona. The Nashville location is slated to open next year.

Daily Scoop for Week of 2/1/16

Today is Thursday, February 4th- Happy 12th Birthday to Facebook!   Sam Hunt will perform at the Super Bowl Tailgate Party on Sunday and it will air during the  pre-game show on CBS.   Blake Shelton is disappointed that he didn't receive any nominations at the ACM Awards this year. He tweeted that at  least now he can take the night off. He also said he needs to work harder to get back on the ballot next year.   Vin Diesel has revealed release dates for the next three installments of the Fast & Furious films. Fast 8 is scheduled  to hit theaters in April 2017. Fast & Furious 9 will follow in April 2019, and Fast & Furious 10 will arrive in April 2021.  Vin says these three movies are expected to form a trilogy that will wrap up the franchise.

Nashville News: Friday, 1/29 Carrie Underwood is teaming up with Carnival Cruise Line to support Operation Homefront -- an organization that offers help to military personnel returning home from service.  During her Storyteller concert run, Carrie will meet with military families who will share their stories of strength,  and courage for a video series on Carnival.com. Carnival will also sell special commemorative dog tags benefiting  the organization.  In November, Carrie will perform a concert for military families aboard the cruise line's newest ship, Vista.   Cyndi Lauper's first-ever country album goes on sale May 6th. Detour is a 12-track collection of classic country tunes from the 1940s, '50s and '60s -- such as "Walkin' After Midnight" and "I Fall to Pieces," both made famous by Patsy Cline. Other notable songs include duets with Willie Nelson on "Night Life," and Vince Gill on "You're the Reason Our Kids  Are Ugly."
