Darius Rucker launched his Southern Style tour and he's lined up a special thanks to vets.
During the run, Darius will give away 11 homes to heroic military veterans as a thank you for
serving our country. He made the first presentation the Today show to Specialist Daniel Branham, who was
wounded while stationed in Iraq. The new home is in Charleston, South Carolina -- not far from Darius's pad.
Joining Darius on the road are Brett Eldredge, A Thousand Horses andBrothers Osborn. They will all be stopping
at Blossom on August 20th!

Carrie Underwood leads the nominees at this year's CMT Music Awards with five nods.
Carrie's "Something in the Water" and “Somethin’ Bad,” the clip from her duet with Miranda Lambert,
are both up forVideo of the Year. Carrie also has two videos nominated forFemale Video of the Year-- "Something in the Water" and "Little Toy Guns."
Lady Antebellum and Kenny Chesney follow with four nominations apiece. Other multiple nominees
include Florida Georgia Line, Miranda Lambert and Jason Aldean.

Dolly Parton’s first original movie with NBC has been given the green light.
Coat of Many Colors will be about her upbringing in East Tennessee as was the song it's titled after.
The special is part of a series of two-hour TV movies based on the Country Music Hall of Famer.
Dolly will possibly appear in some.
Brad Paisley recently released the music video for his single “Crushin’ It.”
The video is animated and was completely drawn and created by Brad.
He depicts in the video what he thinks a country music super hero team would look like.
Animated appearances by Carrie Underwood, Blake Shelton, Florida Georgia Line, George Strait,
Keith Urban, Eric Church and more are included in the video.
Kacey Musgraves will release her sophomore album,Pageant Material, on June 23rd.
She says, "Going back into the studio this time around was really fun and exciting for me
because I knew more about myself and my direction. The majority of Pageant Material was recorded live,
which was a bit of a departure from 'Same Trailer,' and gave it more of a concise, classic sound."
Kacey co-wrote all of the songs for the album, which she also co-produced.

Little Big Town have added 17 new fall dates to the Pain Killer tour. The fall leg starts in October in
Minnesota with stops across the Pacific Northwest and Canada.
And on a side note- they are taking time off this month to record their first Christmas album.
A fall leg has been added to Shania Twain’s Rock This Country tour. The new dates start September 12th
in Spokane, Washington, and the final show is set for October 11th in Toronto. Gavin DeGraw is the special
guest for most of the fall dates.
The summer leg launches June 5th in Seattle.
Tim McGraw has revealed his plans for a new studio album. He started working on his follow up to
Sundown Heaven Town a few weeks ago, and he is in the studio putting the finishing touches on it.
He says he is really excited about the fun, incredible bunch of songs he is working on.
He hopes to release the new album by the end of the year.

Brantley Gilbert will pair his type of rockin' country with the southern rock of Lynyrd Skynyrd for
the next edition of CMT Crossroads.
They'll take the stage together in Franklin, Tennessee on June 5th to shoot the episode,
which is slated to air on June 27th. Brantley says he had no hesitation when CMT asked him to
pick a dream collaboration. He adds: “There's something about their music that just drew me in.
It's a lifelong thing."
He says he's particularly looking forward to performing "Simple Man," a song from
the group's 1973 debut album.
Tyler Farr is getting married! The singer announced his engagement to his long-time girlfriend via Instagram. The caption read, “Proud to say I'm engaged to my best friend
and the most amazing woman I've ever known.”
Keith Urban and Eric Church are number-one this week with “Raise ‘Em Up.”Jaren Johnston
of The Cadillac Three co-wrote the track. It’s the fourth number-one from Fuse (following “Somewhere in My Car,” “We Were Us” and “Little Bit of Everything”).
