Lindsay Ell is giving us her best John Mayer…
Hillary Scott approaches life differently since having twins…

Fans will be able to hear Lindsay Ell's interpretation of John Mayer's Continuum album when she releases her version of the influential album on May 25.
When Lindsay was at the beginning stages of her latest album, The Project, her producer Kristian Bush of Sugarland challenged her to record every song and instrument on her favorite John Mayer album as a way to spark creativity. This is the result and now we get to hear it.

Since giving birth to her twin girls, Hillary Scott of Lady Antebellum approaches life a little differently -- especially when it comes to taking care of herself.
She tells People magazine, “I will say, if I gotta run out the door I pretty much draw on my eyebrows, put my hair in a bun and maybe have time for a little wand of mascara. And I really try to take a shower every day! That is just full transparency.”
Lady Antebellum kick off their Summer Plays On tour with Darius Rucker in July and they will stop at Blossom on July 20th.

Justin Moore is headed back to the 90s…
Chris Stapleton is platinum…

Justin Moore is preparing to make a great '90s country music album for his next project. He says he is channeling the likes of David Lee Murphy, Toby Keith and Alan Jackson and getting back to work- he even plans to find some of the old studio musicians who worked on those 90s albums we know and love to help cut it.
But, Justin says he will still make a country record for today, not 25 years ago. No word on when the album will be out.

Chris Stapleton just keeps on raking up the accolades.
His album From A Room, Volume 1 is certified platinum for over 1 million in sales, and Volume 2 has gone gold with sales of over 500,000.
His song “Tennessee Whiskey” is now four-times platinum, and "Fire Away, "Broken Halos, "Nobody to Blame" and "Parachute" have each earned platinum status.

Blake Shelton says tweet was not about Miranda Lambert
Lady A received a Tony nomination…

Blake Shelton says his recent tweet about karma had nothing to do with Miranda Lambert.
In a recent interview he said, "If it was meant for people to know exactly what it meant it wouldn't have been so cryptic. But I can tell you it's been very entertaining to watch the world run with it and assume what they think it's about."
If you recall, right after the news broke about Miranda's alleged relationship with Evan Felker, who was married when they started dating, Blake tweeted, "Been taking the high road for a long time... I almost gave up. But I can finally see something on the horizon up there!! Wait!! Could it be?! Yep!! It’s karma!!"

Lady Antebellum have earned a Tony nomination for their song "Chop to the Top," from Spongebob Squarepants: The Musical. The musical is up for 12 total awards.

The awards will air live from New York City on June 10th on CBS.

Kenny Chesney to release a new album…
Shania Twain and Jake Owen are headed to reality TV…

Kenny Chesney will release Songs for the Saints on July 27th.
The album is reflective of his life over the last couple of years, especially what happened after Hurricane Irma hit St. John and other Caribbean islands.
He says, “But this album isn’t about St. John, so much as it’s about what happened to St. John and all those islands you didn’t see on the news, to just see the devastation and what that does to people is one thing, but then there’s this courage and resilience people find.”
And, this is Kenny's first album on his new record label.

Shania Twain and Jake Owen are set to host Real Country, a new reality talent show on the USA network.
In each episode, Shania and Jake will hand-pick acts from different genres in country music- duos, groups, solos. The winners of each round will compete in a final showcase, and one will be named one of country music's breakout acts.
The show tapes this summer in Nashville and will air in the fall.

Morgan Wallen goes gold…
Jason Aldean goes #1 again…

Morgan Wallen celebrated the release of his debut album, If I Know Me, with a performance on Jimmy Kimmel Live. Jimmy then surprised Morgan by presenting him with his first ever gold record certification for his song “Up Down” with FGL. On a related Jimmy Kimmel Live note, Sugarland is set to perform on the show this Wednesday night- giving you plenty of time to set the DVR!

Jason Aldean has yet another number-one hit.
"You Make It Easy" jumped two spots to reach the top of the Mediabase Country Airplay chart this week. You could say he made getting to number one look easy.
