Miranda Lambert will be the 15th artist to take up residency at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum.
She says, “It’s truly an honor to be named artist-in-residence for the museum. I’m thankful for this place, where our music can continue to be cherished, and I’m thrilled to be among the esteemed artists who have been honored by this designation.”
She'll perform two shows on September 19th and September 26th.
Chris Young is getting ready for a very busy August to promote his new single, "Hangin' On."He'll be performing on ABC's Good Morning America on August 7th, then he'll join Kelly and Ryan on August 8th.
Chris is currently playing fairs and festivals, but he'll kick back up his Losing Sleep tour on September 13th in New Mexico.

Jason Aldean and his wife are having another baby…
It took 25 weeks since its release for "Tequila" to get to the top of the chart. So, Dan and Shay are more than happy to celebrate a second week at number-one. "Tequila" is the lead-off single to their self-titled album.

Jason made the announcement on Instagram by posting a picture of their son Memphis in a t-shirt that read big brother. The two kids will be close in age- Memphis is only 7 months old right now.

Garth Brooks to play Notre Dame Stadium…
Luke Bryan to open a bar in Nashville…
Garth Brooks announced yesterday that he will be the first act to play at Notre Dame Stadium.
Garth said, "Notre Dame stadium has seen so many iconic moments! I look forward to bringing a new kind of crazy to the party."
No date or other acts have been announced for the show. But Garth hinted that this show is a "blueprint" for other possible shows.
Luke Bryan is the latest country artist to get into Nashville's Lower Broadway bar scene.
Plans have been filed for a restaurant and entertainment complex under the name of Luke Bryan's 32 Bridge Kitchen and Bar. The venue will be located on Third Avenue and Broadway at the site of a former boot store.
Why the name? 32 Bridge is a reference to the route 32 bridge, which crosses the Flint River in Georgia. No word on if you can get a catfish dinner!

Chris Lane loves playing golf…
Many artists these days release several singles between albums, but Miranda Lambert says she will never be one of those.
In a recent interview she said, "It’s been suggested to me lately, 'Well, you can just release a song.' It’s like they sucked all the air out of the room, because I’m too romantic about making records. I can’t change that; I’m never gonna change that."
Miranda is currently on the Band Wagon tour with Little Big Town.
Chris Lane is obsessed with golf. He never played it much until over the last few years, and he loves it so much he has a stipulation for any woman who wishes to marry him.
He says, "When I get married, that is one thing my wife has to understand is that I get to go play golf whenever I want."
Chris's new album, Laps Around the Sun comes out on July 13th.
