Friday, 7/20

FGL earned an MTV Video Music Award nomination…
Kenny Chesney honored for his tour…

 

Florida Georgia Line have earned themselves an MTV Video Music Awards nomination in the Best Collaboration category for "Meant to Be" along with Bebe Rexha.
The awards will be given out at Radio City Music Hall in New York City on August 20th. You can vote at MTV.com.

Kenny Chesney is the only country artist to make it onto Pollstar's mid-year list of the Top 10 Tours. 
He says, "What we do isn’t just country, it’s life. For the people who come every summer, whether they love rock or pop or whatever, they’re gonna feel the music, but they also know they’ve lived these songs."
Joining Kenny in the Top 10 are Taylor Swift, The Rolling Stones, Jay-Z and Beyoncé, Bruno Mars, U2, Justin Timberlake, the Eagles and Pink.

 

Thursday, 7/19

Cole Swindell announced a mini-tour…
Carly Pearce and Michael Ray are a thing… 

Cole Swindell will support his third album, All of It, with a six-date mini-tour. 
He'll release the record on August 17th, the same day he'll appear live on The Today Show. 
After his performance, he'll catch a flight to St. Louis to kick off the tour. He will make a stop in Cleveland at the House of Blues on August 22nd.

It appears there is a new couple in country music! Carly Pearce and Michael Ray both posted a super cute pic of them cuddling on Instagram. The caption read- And then one random night at the Nashville Palace changed everything. Heart emoji. Super cute, guys!

Kenny Chesney is back at #1…
Eric Paslay is going to be a dad… 

For the second time in less than a month, Kenny Chesney has the number-one song in country music.  
Last month, he reached the top of the charts on David Lee Murphy's "Everything's Gonna Be Alright." This week, his own single "Get Along" is number-one on the Mediabase Country Airplay chart. This is Kenny's 32nd number-one hit! 

Eric Paslay and his wife Natalie are about to join the country music baby boom. The couple both announced they are expecting their first child together on Instagram in a super cute pic. Congrats to all!

Blake Shelton is joining Adam Levine for a new series…
Cole Swindell releases details about his new album… 

Blake Shelton is among the stars who will participate in Adam Levine's 8 week YouTube series, Sugar.
Each week a different artist will surprise fans who have given back to their communities with pop-up concerts and other events. The series, which begins on YouTube Premium on August 15th,  is based on Maroon 5's video in which the band surprises couples on their wedding day.

Cole Swindell unveiled the cover of his new album, All of It, it features a picture of- Cole. He co-wrote five of 12 tracks on the record. Unlike the last album, there are no collaborations on this one.
The album, which is Cole’s third, will be released on August 17th.
