Nashville News: Friday, 11/11 Mickey Guyton announced her engagement on Instagram this week, sharing that the moment “took me completely by surprise.” She admits she likes to keep her relationship status private, and all we know about her fiance is that he a lawyer and they have been together for awhile.. No wedding details were shared. Mickey also didn’t mention any specifics about when, where or how the proposal took place, but yay for her. Scotty McCreery has plans to release new music in the near future. He says he should have a new single out by January or February. New music on the horizon isn’t the only exciting venture the singer has under his wing. He released his first book, Go Big or Go Home, in May of 2016 with a supporting book tour that visited several states across the country. He also left his music label, Mercury Nashville, earlier in the year.

Nashville News: Friday, 11/4 Set the DVR for November 9th because Brad Paisley will be a guest on the season premiere of Jay Leno’s Garage on CNBC. Last week, Jay shared a hilarious video, attempting to teach Brad how to do a burnout in a shiny new Camaro. It didn't go exactly as planned. Garth Brooks, Trisha Yearwood and Dolly Parton will be among the performers helping light the Christmas tree in Rockefeller Center in New York City. Christmas in Rockefeller Center airs on November 30th on NBC. And the Brothers Osborne are still reeling from, what some are calling their huge upset win at the CMAs when they took home the win for Best Vocal Duo of the Year. The brothers are calling it the best night of their lives. They will be the House of Blues in Cleveland on November 11th.

Nashville News: Friday, 10/28 It's two years since Sam Hunt put out his full-length debut album, Montevallo-- hope you're not holding your breath. Most artists put out new music every couple of years, but Sam says he's taking his time with the follow-up. He says, “I have a lot less time to devote to the second record, so I’ve tried to figure out how to be as efficient as a songwriter with the new obligations and a new lifestyle since I’m not as free to write." That doesn't mean there's nonew music on the way. He adds, “I’ve got a few songs that I’m excited about that I’m going to put out, even if that is a long time before the next record comes out.” Faith Hill and Kellie Pickler's syndicated daytime talk show is getting closer to becoming a reality. Though it's not in production yet, Kellie says they're putting the concept together. It will be a lifestyle show, interviewing real people, talking about small businesses, shining the light on special talents and helping people make their dreams come true! No word yet on when show will begin airing.
