Nashville News: Friday, 6/10 Steven Tyler's long-awaited country album is almost here. We're All Somebody From Somewhere will be released on July 15th. He says, “Country music is the new rock and roll. It’s not just about porches, dogs and kicking your boots up. It's a whole lot more. It's about being real. And nothing is more real than understanding We’re All Just Somebody From Somewhere.” Lots of country singers received gold status recently for their singles selling over 500,000 copies and downloads. Gold single honors went to Tim McGraw for “Humble and Kind,” Dierks Bentley for “Somewhere on a Beach,” Jon Pardi for “Head Over Boots,” Florida Georgia Line for “Confession,” and Thomas Rhett for “Die A Happy Man.”

That’s all for now!” A huge congratulations is in order for country duoWaterloo Revival, as they announced recently that they have signed with Show Dog Nashville. Waterloo Revival were previously signed to Big Machine Records. They join Show Dog Nashville acts including Toby Keith. Toby said, “I heard their music and thought man, they would be great on Show Dog. I haven’t signed any bands in a long time and they inspired me to start doing that again.”

Nashville News: Thursday, 5/26 Miranda Lambert is closing her Pink Pistol boutique in Oklahoma and moving the entire operation to her hometown of Lindale, Texas, where she opened a store a few years ago. She says, “It feels full circle to have everything under one 'roof' basically where it all began in my hometown of Lindale. Sometimes you need to close a chapter to build on a new beginning or go back home." The Lindale location will move to a bigger space and should be open around Labor Day. Carrie Underwood looks real good on the cover of Us Weekly’s Best Bodies issue. Inside, she reveals the secret to her famous legs. She says, “I like squats, lunges. If I go for a jog and I meet up with a good hill, I will lunge up the hill.” Carrie says she feels better now at 33 than she did when she was 20 because she takes better care of herself. She is once again set to co-host the CMA Awards with Brad Paisley for the 9th time on November 2nd.
