The Royal Rumble...
Before we get into my Wrasslin' Wednesday.
Big news for Netflix:
In a $5 Billion media rights deal Netflix will be the weekly provider of "Raw" Series for 10 Years starting in January of 2025.... And will be the hub of huge events like WrestleMania, SummerSlam and the Rumble. Smackdown will head to USA and NXT will head to CW in October....pretty big things going on for better or for worse
The Rock has been appointed to the TKO Board of Directors.
Now onto this weekend's Rumble.
The 30-Men's Royal Rumble: There will be all the big names and some surprises. I would expect Brock Lesnar back for this one as it is one of his greatest events. With the field thick with talent, I could see various participants in the running. CM Punk has been spouting off that he will win the Rumble since his return. Cody Rhodes is always in the running. Sami Zayn's return would be sweet! My pick is CM Punk because who says they will win for this long? Drew McIntyre or Gunther are my dark horses.
The 30-Women's Royal Rumble: This one would be a no brainer for me... It is The Man's Game and everyone else is just playing along. I would expect Sasha Banks to make a return the the WWE in some shape or form. I think Becky Lynch wins. Bayley is my dark horse.
Undisputed WWE Universal Championship: Roman Reigns vs. Randy Orton vs. LA Knight vs. AJ Styles: This one could be won by any of the 4 participants. Being Roman Reigns is in the match and the holding the belt for 1000's of days is more important. Roman Reigns retains the title but with a lot of help from The Bloodline.
United States Championship: Logan Paul vs. Kevin Owens: This may be the best match of the night. If Logan Paul's schedule is busy. I imagine he will lose the title to KO. If he doesn't Austin Theory or someone will have a hand in on winning the match for Logan Paul.
