A few weeks back, I played Trisha Yearwood's XXX's and Ooo's during the WQMX Throwback at 3:25ish.  A caller said it reminded her of riding around singing every word with her mom in the car!  When I played Alabama's Mountain Song a week ago, there were a ton of you that called in and shared stories.  Shelly stuck out, she said it reminder her of Sunday family meals it was always on to help pick up after everyone was full and tired...   I love these so much!  Shelly asked me what songs take me back to childhood moment...

Most of the weddings, events and parties and big events have all included this one...(but those are fuzzy memories)

16 year old me would say Brooks & Dunn - My Maria (summer fun and carefree)... It reminds me of riding on backroads and rope swings.

I love music ... But my Grandma really was the big country inspiration for me....   She would blare this one and I would stop playing wiffle ball and listen. I didn't even know it was Keith (at that point)... it just sounded perfect...  I don't regret stopping to this day!  

This song came out way past my childhood but I love it nonetheless...  takes me back to a carefree time filled with baseball/wiffleball...  A pitcher of Kool-Aid, score book, 4 to 20 friends and play all day, it was non-stop. There were not many times as a child that I did not have a bat, ball or glove in the vicinity...
