As soon as I got up this morning, I had a chore to do - cut the grass! Looking back, I think it had been close to a full month since the last time I did it. But at the same time, the grass has been growing a little slower this year with the overall lack of rain.

Either way, my yard (especially the backyard) was starting to look like a jungle! I was honestly feeling self conscious about it. It was long when I got home from vacation on Labor Day and that was 3 weeks ago!

Luckily I got it all cut and the clippings out to the curb in time for garbage collection day today! Hopefully I will maybe have to cut one or two more times this year. Fingers crossed!
